strike after strike raid after raid nothing I mean the best armor I have gotten was given to me for buying the dark below I cannot seem to catch a break and being held back from getting new and more powerful equipment is really starting to think something has gone wrong with my game entirely only green drops and every so often a blue entagram or whatever they are called just playing skill alone isn't enough anymore I would have thought by now I would have seen at least some better body armor. or maybe its just going to be bad luck all week lol :}

do patrols and strikes to get marks and rep start with the vanguard gear and you'll be fine
-
You should not be doing mid level stuff expecting to get to 31 or 32. Buy the vendor gear then raid.
-
If you haven't completed any raids, please stop... People like us who play to get what we can and can't get that drop have done more than someone with no raids and only strikes. PvP doesn't count that much because its a garbage system.

Dude I was at several hundred strikes before the DLC came out, got mida multi tool, hardlight, patience and time, just to name a few exotic drops from strikes. That was pre dlc though, just stick with it, before you know you will be dismantling stuff to make room for better stuff.

1 ReplyI have found that doing Night Falls if you limit total deaths to 3 then you typically get an exotic weapon or armor. Whenever I have more than 3 deaths like if I use a level 28 character and lights witch is on or a knight gets me with his boom stick I get legendary or materials. This has just been through my trials though and I'm sure hasn't been the same for everyone else.

1 ReplyYou have barely started playing yet mate lol 25 stikes isnt a very significant amount. In fact thats how many you need for one exotic bounty alone. And you cant say raid after raid if you have no raid completions ;P After 25 strikes you should have enough marks to buy at least one legendary armor piece. After that do the Roc stikes for a shot at real rewards and better loot. After u r 26 you should take on the vault on normal and start raiding

3 RepliesEdited by MandoTHX1138: 3/15/2015 12:50:43 AMYou are about 40 hours in. You've only just begun. When you get at least 200+ hours then we'll talk about loot drops and RNG.

I was going to chime in, but upon reflection, there is nothing I can add.

Ha Ha bro i am a 31 and i barely get exotic weapons so stop whining

There is only one answer; GRIND HARDER

1 ReplyEdited by Cyanide: 3/14/2015 8:41:45 PMYou've completed only 23 strikes and 0 raids. Quit whining about your lack of gear. You've barely begun to grind.
-
You have no raid completion and only one kill in an attempt? What are you talking about?

1 ReplyEdited by Dr McWeazel: 3/14/2015 9:34:08 PMTook a look at your Legend (You know that's a thing, right?). I doubt you've completed "Raid after Raid" if you've got a grand total of one kill, and your highest level character is 25. Also, VoG gear (Level 30) isn't worth leveling up anymore. Used to be the best stuff you could get, but now vendor gear (Level 31) completely outclasses it- to say nothing of the Crota's End gear (level 32). Doesn't sound like a big difference, but once you hit level 32, you'll notice you stop dying (except by choice) unless you're doing Raids or Nightfalls. EDIT: Also according to your Legend, your Hunter (presumably your main, considering your Warlock is level 2) has only cleared 20 Strikes. Hardly what I'd call "Strike after Strike". NEVERTHELESS, I would suggest you just keep at it. You won't get super duper lucky and end up getting Legendaries from every Strike, but if you persist, you'll eventually get enough Vanguard Marks to just buy a Legendary piece of armor. Up until then, just be patient, and remember- the Random Number God is a cruel, cruel being.

3 RepliesDude, Just be patient. You're evidently a little bit confused as you've spent almost no time in raids. You will get there however. Gotta be patient
-
6 RepliesWelcome to Bungie's stupid loot reward system, now if you want those sweet looking exotics you'll either have to incessantly grind for them and hope to get lucky or just wait for Xur to get them...
-
2 RepliesRaid after raid? You have 0 raid completions.. calm down.

8 RepliesAre you serious?

1 ReplyEdited by Blade Abattoir: 3/14/2015 8:25:45 PMHi, I was just looking at your character(s) your best bet is to start buying armor from the vanguard for your 25. Spend the vanguard coins you get to buy gloves, boots, helmet, etc. Purple drops are rare, so that's your best bet. EDIT:Full vanguard gear will have enough light to get you to 31. I think the drop rate improves significantly for blues once you get past 28 or so, at least that's what it seems to me.
