Who else votes NO on new Vault space??
I personally, for several reasons do not want the addition of vault space! Among other things, I feel like gun hoarding every purple and exotic you come across can make the game feel like a trophy hunt. I think that with the way the space is now, it forces us more veteran players to make tough choices on what is worth keeping around. Now this seems to be a really unpopular idea, as everyone seems to demand vault space, but is there anyone out there that agrees with me?
Edit: So far the opposition is huge! I was expecting something like this but you guys sure feel strongly about this!
Edit2: The overwhelming consensus is that I am really really wrong on this. I appreciate the comments, and if the added space will improve some people's gaming then I can't be mad about it!

2 RepliesThis is what the game is, to grind and collect, of course we need more vault space! Why else do we play this game? The story? The constant surprise of an are we have never seen? The dregs and vandals moving in a different direction when I first spot them on the cosmodrome? To play the same raids and strikes overf and over again, just to look at our vault and go damn I have to delete something! So yes I vote more Vault space, as should you.

1 ReplyI disagree but more for the nurf/buff system in place. I keep leveling something up only to have it nurfed so I dismantle it and level something else up only to have it change again. Now I hate dismantling anything as they may buff it again later.

2 RepliesYou very much are wrong. You call yourself a "veteran". I'm a day 1 player with every exotic weapon and I keep many legendaries as well. I have plenty of space dotted around my characters but it is extremely unhelpful. There's no reason to limit it, let people hoard all the want.

1 ReplyI understand where you are coming from with you're idea but it isn't every one who consider themselves as "veterans", for lack of better term because veteran would alude to there being a destiny game before this, most people would consider themselves as players of the game but no where near this "veteran" you speak of. And thus more space = more stuff and every one likes stuff.

I want every exotic and every element on every type of legendary weapon. You've heard of burns, right? Try tossing all those different weapons around between 3 characters with only 20 spaces. I'm sure Bungie is improving vault space in the next update but if they don't add more sections it still won't be enough.

But the game IS a trophy hunt. I have over 750hours on this game. I do both raids on all 3 characters every week to get all weapons and exotics plus duplicates. Hell the #1 reason I still play now is to max out my grimoire rank. if that's not trophy hunting then I don't know what this game is then

me personally..i dont collect exotics like other...i dont need to keep a weapon im probably never gonna use...so it doenst matter to me much...but id still like to see more vault space...itll be good

It can be considered a trophy hunt because there is no story or exploration. Just strikes/pvp. You can do raids as much a you want if you don;t care about no rewards.

Part of what makes Destiny fun for me is the fact that I am trying to collect things, so the more space the better.
