Who else votes NO on new Vault space??
I personally, for several reasons do not want the addition of vault space! Among other things, I feel like gun hoarding every purple and exotic you come across can make the game feel like a trophy hunt. I think that with the way the space is now, it forces us more veteran players to make tough choices on what is worth keeping around. Now this seems to be a really unpopular idea, as everyone seems to demand vault space, but is there anyone out there that agrees with me?
Edit: So far the opposition is huge! I was expecting something like this but you guys sure feel strongly about this!
Edit2: The overwhelming consensus is that I am really really wrong on this. I appreciate the comments, and if the added space will improve some people's gaming then I can't be mad about it!

There is literally no downside to having more vault space. Unless Bungie breaks their game when trying to implement it. Not beyond the realm of possibility.

I've got very good shotguns, fusions, sniper rifles, auto rifles I had to dismantle but I wanted to test them because they would be so fun.

They are MY guns, I do what I (and most out there) want with them. It's not hoarding, it's collecting. Plus, I already did math on needed guns, like all 9 VoG, all 9 CE, all 23 exotics, some Iron Banner, some simply useful guns (Void FR for Thorn bounty, for example), and it all comes down to not having enough space.

Honestly, I think the current vault space is fine, but I'm wary to get rid of guns (even though I don't use 80% of them) because they might become valid in the future due to buffs (or OP stacks with future weapons). IDK. I'll just make due with what is given to me.

Honest opinion, not pissed at you or anything, But, you know, we wouldn't hoard guns if there was at least 1 or 2 OTHER THINGS TO DO IN THE ENDGAME. Maybe if they made the RNG more like borderlands, people would play it... Heck, I'm basically gonna drop this game when handsome edition comes out.

Really? No to vault space? Hahahaha Thats all this game is anyway! A damn trophy hunt. Its pulling the lever on a slot machine. Find me something else to do in the game that doesn't have to do with finding the coolest loot....

7 RepliesIt's not about hoarding. It's about having space for gear you might need. Before TDB I had the Mask of the Third Man and dismantled it because I didn't have space. If I would have had space I would've kept it and been prepared for hard mode Crota instead of having to get it and level it for a second time. Just saying... it's better to have and not need than need and not have.

After playing for a while and getting most exotics I have almost no space already, I can't imagine trying to house another raids worth of weapons with 20 slots.
