I personally, for several reasons do not want the addition of vault space! Among other things, I feel like gun hoarding every purple and exotic you come across can make the game feel like a trophy hunt. I think that with the way the space is now, it forces us more veteran players to make tough choices on what is worth keeping around. Now this seems to be a really unpopular idea, as everyone seems to demand vault space, but is there anyone out there that agrees with me?
Edit: So far the opposition is huge! I was expecting something like this but you guys sure feel strongly about this!
Edit2: The overwhelming consensus is that I am really really wrong on this. I appreciate the comments, and if the added space will improve some people's gaming then I can't be mad about it!
Edit3: Looks like I lost

this is one of the dumbest post I have seen... why the hell would you vote "no" on something that just gives more? rofl f'n idiots in this game for real
-
Umm.. Your post seems to have decent intentions so I wont make fun of you lol.. But no, just no dude... We play to build an arsenal, veteran players will have lots of weapons for any situation.. Restricting yourself is pointless.. Does dismantling a gun you like bring you joy or something? That's another issue ;)
-
Need more space!
-
I am collecting every exotic armor and gun (missing necrochasm), every raid armor and gun (missing swordbreaker and that damn warlock chest from VoG), not to mention a few vanilla legendaries from vendor and IB. I busted my ass getting these items and the least bungie could let me do it keep them as trophies of my virtual accomplishments. I don't want to dismantle my fatebringer for 2 ascendant energies, i want to hold onto it and say, yeah it took me 40 Hard VoG completions to get that bad boy.
-
With two characters, my vault is tight. If I rolled another, I'd want more space.

Edited by SubnoizeSpartan: 3/15/2015 12:20:08 PMYou are wrong. Its not just everyones weapon section filling up. With both types of commendations, all 4 destination materials, both types of shards and energy, motes, coins, all 4 glimmer items and exotic shards... My consumables has 3 open spots. They keep adding new materials that you need with each expansion. How are we supposed to hold more upgrade items with no space?
-
I don't care because I don't want to "catch em all" it's not -blam!-ing Pokemon. I'll only use the ones I use
-
I see your point OP. And it is a valid point. But with the increase in DLC with the HoW coming out I think now the vault space could definitely use an upgrade. Anything before the new DLC I think the space is sufficient especially if you're running 3 characters who could all store plenty on themselves as well.
-
First off, I'm collecting all exotics. Then I need a primary elemental weapon for each element. Then I need secondary weapons, one sniper for each element and some shotguns and fusion rifles. Then I need heavy weapons, one machinegun for each element and a few rocket launchers. The current vault space IS NOT enough.
-
That's because you're a scrub.
-
For some reason I find it hard to believe you're a "verteran" Also, if people want to collect every legendary and/or every exotic in the game, that is their choice. Not yours, destiny is a game that allows each individual to make their own choices. Vault space is needed for players who want to collect or hoard heavy synths
-
Go suck dinklebot
-
What is wrong with you, if you don't want to collect guns, don't? That's hardly a reason to petition against what thousands of people want. RNJEEEEZUS!!
-
3 RepliesYour a fool
-
So what if I want trophy's? My guns have served me so well, it'll be a crime to dismantle them like common tools.
-
5 RepliesEdited by Εφιάλτης: 3/14/2015 9:01:46 PMA veteran with those stats? If so you make veterans look terrible. Anyways veterans aren't more important than any other regular nerfed on a game. Alpha..beta.. often. I'll alpha beta my foot up all your asses. =] As for vault space.. a majority of destiny players want it so it is inevitable. You don't like it? Quit
don't bother replying.. don't want you looking even more retarded =]
1 ReplyGo away.
-
2 RepliesI want it. I still have queens weapons and armor, including both raid sets and weapons and faction gear and weapons. It's a collection for me, so I want more space..
-
4 RepliesAnd veteran.....? You don't even have a 32....what the heII makes you a vet of this game.
-
It's hard keeping all exotics and raid weapons in vault. "Well you have 3 -blam!-ing characters dumb ass use those" no -blam!- that I like opening my vault and seeing the beautiful mixture of yellow and purple.
-
2 RepliesWho is hoarding purples? Here's an easy formula: Is it yellow? Yes, then keep it. Is it purple? Does t have firefly and another desirable perk? If yes, maybe don't shard it. Everything else becomes shards. I currently have 3 non raid purples.

2 RepliesUr a moron for even making this topic.
I feel like gun hoarding every purple and exotic you come across can make the game feel like a trophy hunt. -
No one, more space is needed, And why the heII would you care about what anyone else keeps or does not keep, How would that affect your game....It wouldn't And in case you didn't realize this the game is a trophy hunt, your hunting for better weapons and armor and not everyone gets the same weapons and armor, and on top of that not every weapon and armor piece is the same some have better perks then others. I have 7-Raid gauntlets from crota that all have different perks that come in handy at different times of the Raid. More space is needed badly.
-
What? Seriously? You don't want more vault space?! Yes it makes the game feel like a trophy hunt because that's partly what it is! If i weren't chasing that last exotic i need, i wouldn't be so adamant about raiding. I mean, the raids ate arguably the best part of the game but i wouldn't be so uptight about getting them done every week if i didn't still need Gjallarhorn. I've got every raid weapon and every exotic but one and i do my best to not let anything correct dust for too long. I swap up my loadout frequently and enjoy having a large variety of weapons. I'd like to have more

I'm just a little nobody and even I know posting this took balls lol. Good job
