Best Pulse Rifle After Buff?
Have all besides Red Death. Wondering which one I should max out
EDIT: Forgot to mention this is for PvP.

5 RepliesMessenger's range is better than Red Death and it shoots laser beams. It can two burst kill even if not all shots are crit and it can also hold more rounds. Red Death is only good at medium range and the healing perk is easily interrupted when fighting multiple combatants. Basically, The Messenger trades the healing perk to make up for everything Red Death is bad at with the addition of increased damage. All this without eating an exotic slot.

2 RepliesThe Messenger is not better than Red Death. 1) Red deaths healing perk is amazing 2) Both are a two burst kill 3) Unflinching will ensure you atleast trade if someone hits you first 4) High caliber rounds can win many engagements by itself 5) Perfect balance is great but pulse rifle recoil is easy enough to control 6) You don't need range on any map besides shores of time so the range stat doesn't have any weighting. The fact that it takes an exotic slot shouldn't matter because your primary is usually your exotic in pvp as you use it the most (unless all you do is blink shotgun - in that case you can use any primary)

Red Death and the Messenger are the best by far. I have a pretty good Spare Change though (head seeker & the quick reload after a kill) ability might make it pretty dope if I ever use it.
