what is a squeaker to you?
I'm 13 and I'm going through my voice changing stage where I get frequent voice cracks and it's really annoying so I just wanted to know, does this make me a squeaker I don't know. what you would consider a squeaker? When I come across a young kid with the mic right up to his mouth and he's talking loud it just sucks so I wanted to know your guys opinion on when you stop being a squeaker thanks

I have a 13 year old friend, but he is very chill, and knows what he is doing. So I consider its not age but how mature they are for their age.

2 RepliesIt's not an age thing, its a mentality thing. I would prefer them to not have a high pitch voice... But if they're not annoying(ie: never shutting up or talking about pointless things) then it's all good.

At 17 I just don't speak too much because I often play with people 25+ i get involved in the conversation but I have a little kid on my friends list he's a 32 and has been since not long after crotas end came out however he's annoying bossy and a terrible player e.g can't take the sword or the relic on either raid I don't understand how must have been carried through so many raids

1 ReplyTo preface this, I am 21 and finishing up college. A buddy of mine, who is 23, plays Destiny with me regularly. He's 6' 4 ~250 lbs with a very low voice. I know him well enough to call him a friend, but I don't know much about his family. The other day, he invited me to a party. Upon joining I noticed another player in the party. I asked my friend who it was, and was met with the response "Oh, that's my brother". We played a few hours together before his brother had to leave. His voice was even lower than my friends, so I assumed he must be older. After his brother left, I asked if that was his older brother. To my surprise I was greeted with an eruption of laughter. "No man, that's my 14 year old brother. He's in 8th grade". He was also pretty good at the game, and didn't talk too much. I would raid with him again any day.

Why does it matter to you people about playing with a squeaker? I'm 11 but at least I know how to play right? Like seriously if there is a speaker just ignore or mute him, but at least he/she probably knows how to play.

People are just very biased against "squeakers" when it comes to a voice party/Raid. They don't garner that much respect and I know plenty of people who leave if there are 2 or more of them in a raid or a party, unless I vouch for them, My advice: have someone vouch for you and back you up in a voice party or raid so the older dudes can shut the fúck up and play.
