After seeing all these topics on the kid getting his stuff deleted and whatnot, it made me curious, who would you trust with your account info?
I rarely trust anyone with my account now because I faced a similar scam when I was a kid. I'm sure most of you have heard of the MMORPG "RuneScape", since you guys always reply to my random "selling rune scimmy" posts on the forums, but long story short: back in early middle school, someone offered to level up my account, and when I trusted them, they ended up taking all my stuff as well as botting my account to get me permabanned and throwing away the 1000+ hours I put into it.
After that, I made a new account, started fresh, and learned a great lesson. To this day, I've never fallen for another scam or lost my account in any game again. That's why I'm very careful with my account now and even hesitated to let my best friend from grade school get on it to license transfer some DLC.
That also got me thinking though. A lot of people I know are quick to disclose their account details. They go around giving out their password willy-nilly so the other person can pick up something from Xur while they're gone or something. To put this in perspective for you, I currently have 6 people in my Destiny clan and I have the accounts of 5 of them on my xbox. Two of these people I don't even know what they look like in real life, yet they trust me with their account. I have the power to wipe 12 guardians from existence right now if I wanted to. Obviously I never would do that since I know how it feels to have so much time wasted, but it's interesting to think that I have the power to if I wanted to.
So, who, if anyone at all, would you trust with your XBL/PSN account? No one at all? Family members only? Best friends? Any friends? Complete strangers?
EDIT: For those of you wondering why I have so many of their accounts on my console, 3 of them are my brother's friends who asked me to get on their account on a week they couldn't to either buy something from Xur or run the nightfall for them (And make some emblems on the Advanced Warfare emblem editor). 1 of them is an overseas stranger I met during a raid who asked me to run Crota since he doesn't have the DLC but wanted the gear, and the last one is my brother, so I suppose he doesn't really count.

No one. Same rule applies to all my electronics. No one touches my computer, my PS4, my phone, etc. I bought them. You want some? But your own. :)
