Been playing a lot of crucible and I feel as if the warlock void class nade is absolutely pathetic at times. Am I just horrible at throwing nades or are they just bad?
I should add that the nades are awful in comparison to Hunter and Titan nades.
EDIT: Right folks, I feel as if my question is answered. Thanks for all your responses, whether insightful or not. Feel free to continue posting and calling me horrible! It's all appreciated.

My titan's sticky bomb is the best ;)
-
7 RepliesI'm pretty sure trip mines are the worst. Because the blast radius is focused upwards you could stand almost right next to it and nothing will happen.
-
3 RepliesScatter grenade + bloom = total destruction Sometimes after throwing it into a group in PvE my teammates will say "Who threw that Nova Bomb?" because it's that damn effective.
-
Void walker grenades suck, I agree. Axion bolt is kind of useful, but people just run away from me. The other grenades just suck.

1 ReplyWarlocks have THE best grenades in game. You have stickys and grenades that auto target AND track. They hit like a mofo too
-
HA! You have a grenade that follows people and takes out half their red-bar health. "Oh, just dodge it" I would, but I'm too busy getting shot
-
1 ReplyI like jumping in titan bubbles and throwing a vortex grenade.
-
1 ReplyIf you consider all characters as a whole theyre all really as evenly matched as possible. Where warlocks might lose out in the grenade category, the hunters lose out in the melee category. And I know many would disagree with me but I believe the Titans lose out in the super category(I would take blade dancer or void bomb over any titan super in pvp.) And I'll always go back to the simple "blame the player not the game". With so many different play styles available across 3 different character types, sometimes one class might not be for you.

Use the scatter when you hit a wall behind or at the feet it's a 1 hitter quitter

1 ReplyI used Vortex grenades in PvP until one game. Guy spawned on me so I throw my grenade at the dude. Through some sort of dwarven magic he somehow managed to shoot my grenade which made it explode in front of me while I was already weak. Literally LOL'd and switched to axion bolt.

Just Scatter Grenades. Solar Bolt maybe.
-
The solar grenades are actually quite powerful compared to other grenades
-
If someone is running from an axion bolt and it hits them in the back it only does 2 damage.
-
Axion Bolt. Taking a lap coach!
-
1 ReplyFusion gtenades

Oh you poor thing axion bolt grenades... 2 gunslinger grenades are trying to kill you and the one that isn't sucks. Blade dancer grenades are standard run of the mill. Everyone else has them accept skip which only really pisses people off.
-
Axion bolts and Scatter Grenades.
-
They track for miles u don't even gotta aim it
-
What?
-
Ummm no
-
Vortex/solar grenade is the best warlock grenade IMO. Great for dealing damage or zoning out opponents. I once placed vortex grenade on a control point and killed four people for a breaker medal.
-
I mainly use Axiom Bolt so when I wounded any player, as soon as they get into cover, I throw a surprise grenade and let it do the rest seeking out the targeted player xD
-
Void grenade + vortex mastery is very good and scatter grenade can kill someone at full heath
-
I've perfected a way with the axion bolt if their weak in close quarters throw the grenade and meele if that doesn't kill them the grenade will take care of em worst case you get post mortem works for me
-
Fusion grenade is a one hit kill. If you damage someone with 1 shot your axion bolt CAN kill in 1 hit too
-
3 RepliesAxiom bolts that deal massive damage and chase people halfway across the map underpowered. What do you recommend, them be an instant kill? Maybe we should make the warlock palm an OHK, and grant damage reduction while casting. Or maybe you're not using it like it's supposed to used. Like if I were to say the magnetic grenades were too weak because of they don't stick the AoE isn't as large as a CoD4 grenade, when they are intended to be a stick=kill and miss=not.
