new monarchy, dead orbit or...
Okay so I just want to know..
What's the point in doing these? New monarchy, dead orbit or FWC?
Do they have better guns?
Shaders?
Ships?
I'm trying to decide if I should go with a faction other than vanguard when I make my new titan
I don't play crucible much so is it worth me doing?

I have one of each on my 3 characters. It really depends on how you wanna play really. Me for example, I get really deep into deciding which faction or deity to choose in any game. I actually go into their story and background before I decide. You can see what each faction is all about if you look at your grimoire cards. They all have different views on what is best for humanity and the city. Or you can just go for which one has the coolest shaders and hope that you actually get one =P.

FWC has the best gear (Intellect/Discipline), but that could be useless depending on your situation. Dead Orbit has the best shaders and ship IMO, but all the ships are pretty nice.

Guns and ...gear? And when you level up the reputation, you get something from postmaster. So get 50 points shy of leveling up to 3+ then don't, and instead wait for new expansion, then turn in for new gear/weapons. Do this for 3 characters

It's for the stat rolls on the gear. It allows you to further customize your stats beyond what the vanguard and crucible offer.

Honestly everything for them is more rare and cooler, im in the process of leveling them all up on different characters since that's all I really have left to do in this game

6 RepliesI am in the process of levelling all of the factions to at least 3. FWC has an interesting hand cannon, Dead Obit has a machine gun I want and New Monarchy has the Vanquisher VIII AR. There are other possibilities I am sure but at this point in time these are the weapons I have my eye on.

Onve you level a faction up to level 3 you get random awards. For example, legendary hand cannon red hand can only be found by leveling up new monarchy.

4 RepliesThere is no point. There are three (5 really) factions in the Tower. All are meaningless, all offer nothing, all have no real story or purpose. Enjoy.

I'd stick with the vanguard, but New Monarchy isn't a cult or just kinda emo, unlike the other two.
