What is The Best Vendor Gun you can buy for Crucible marks?
I have to spend my Marks on something. It doesn't matter what, I'm pretty much fully equipped now, but I'm wondering what should I buy?
I know it depends on play style, so: I play PvE with Hand cannons/sniper/rocket laucher mostly, but I'm open for every other option.
I play PvP with Auto rifle (lastly it's Vex) sniper or shotgun (depends on the map) and machine gun
My first legendary was Vanquisher VIII and i still have it, but new perks are worse then pre-patch. And I would prefer one with field scout.
Only gun I obtained this far is TFWPKY 1969, rest are random drops.
So I'd appreciate any help in this subject.

I still didn't make my mind. As a word of crota dropped yesterday I postponed my decision. A little sum up: The Sateriene rapier or Vanqisher in primary slot. If you want gun for PvE - then Rapier, for PVP Vanquisher. For the secondary it really depends on personal preferences. If You need heavy the Against all odds

Auto rifle wise id say my vanquisher since it has the firerate and impact of the once feared shadowprice, or if you get it from rng (like mine) you can almost max either the range or stability

Or If you got abyss defiant auto rifle from the raid I would use this. it is currently the best legendary auto in the game for pvp. It has a suros feel to it. Other then this "up for anything" is ok but the two above are better.....also a friend of mine told me the new raid pulse rifle is a beast in pvp,I haven't tested it yet but it's worth a try even if your not a pulse rifle type of guy.hope that helps ;)

1 ReplyRight now I am working on FWC rank to get The Chance because over the counter it has, Steady Hand IS, Spray and Play, Field Scout and Grenadier (I think this is how it's spelt). This is a great roll of perks for a PvE & PvP viable weapon if you prefer hand cannons, I just saw it the other day and immediately started ranking up (almost Lvl 2)and should have it this weekend.

It feels and plays a lot like Shadow Price/Grim Citizen. Sniper Rifle: Broken Truth. (Dead Orbit) Scout Rifle: B-line Trauma. (Crucible). Machine Gun: Against All Odd (Crucible) If you've got vanguard marks to spend: Auto Rifle: Payback SOS Sniper Rifle LDR 5001 MG: MG-18A Harm's Way Shotgun: Secret Handshake. Coiled Hiss 1919 and Time on Target are both very good pulse rifles. Similar to Praedyth's Timepiece from the VoG raid set.

The machine gun is pretty good for pvp, it's high impact low rate of fire and it has field scout. Try and get lucky from vendor packages since most of the rolls on the standard weapons aren't anything special.

[Crucible] Satierienne Rapier for PvE--basically a scout rifle Fatebringer. I use this frequently for raids with lots of mobs, like the lamps in CE. Against All Odds for PvE and PvP—a fifty round Jolder's Hammer with amazing impact and ability to stagger. I got 8 kills on one clip last night on the way to a Reign of Terror. My new favorite gun. Three Little Words for PvE and PvP--super underrated gun with awesome impact and perks. Two head shot pulses for a kill in PvP with good range. TFWPKY 1969 is just okay. It handles poorly and feels slow and clunky, even at 331. As a hand cannon afficianado, I think there are far better options. Timur's Lash with Outlaw and Field Scout is about as good as you can buy from anyone. [Vanguard] LDR 5001 for PvP and PvE—can shoot people through walls. Best way to use it is to shoot someone with Thorn or Fang of Ir Yut and then snipe them behind cover. Very fun. I don't use auto rifles much so I can't comment on them. Any dropped gun can be awesome or bad depending on the perks. I have a lot of different dropped vendor weapons that are very different from the vendor versions. For example, I have a One Way Ticket 000 with Proximity detonation, field scout, and clown cartridge which is WAYYY better than the vendor version. [spoiler]The vendor versions really should reroll every week. Now that would be fun![/spoiler]

Do gooder V the radar stays active while aiming down the sights is the most useful perk especially for pvp

Vanquisher VIII and Prudence II (drop, not vendor purchase that I've ever seen) from New Monarchy are nice. I was full of Vanguard marks so I picked up Harms Way the other day and it seems pretty good, much higher capacity than the Jolder's Hammer I usually run with. I see lots of Valedictorian 9.44 and Plug Ones in Crucible bit have no personal experience with either.
