I created this thread to post the basics, tips, and hints about the raid that either I or one of you find. I will update the thread as I learn new things about the raid. [b]The Cave [/b] [spoiler] ...Skipping to the point where you land into the "Safety Circle"... This is a survivors test, stay alive and make your way through the dark abyss by following the Lamps (Light Pillars) until you reach the bridge. Tip 1: Don't try to fight off the thrall in one spot, there is an infinite amount of thrall that will attack you throughout the Dark Abyss, so stay with your team and fight through the chaos. Tip 2: Make sure to spend enough time at each Lamp to relieve SOME weight of darkness. Relieving all the weight at each lamp can be a waste of time and cause unneeded deaths. Tip 3: and again... STICK TOGETHER, no man left behind. It is easier to build the bridge to reach part 2 if everyone is there to fight off the countless thrall, knights, and ogres. [/spoiler] [b]The Bridge[/b] [spoiler] Once you walk up the last hill you will come across a " Sync" Plate, a Broken Bridge, and a Bright White Entrance on the other side. Your near the first checkpoint. Now, ready yourselves, step on the plate, and fight off the swarm of Thrall, Knights, and Ogres.. Yes OGRES. Building the Bridge is difficult... Let's leave it at that, I have no tips as of right now to make it easier. Just survive until the bridge is complete or else you have to redo everything from the very start of the cave. Good luck :) ... Once the bridge is fully formed, you may now cross the bridge towards the bright light. Know that there is an Ogre waiting for you as well as the thrall that are chasing you and the other thrall climbing up the side of the bridge. You can choose to fight if you so desire... But the checkpoint is beyond the light, and in this case... DO GO TOWARDS THE LIGHT! Tip 4: Have a hunter with Blade Dancer run across the bridge as soon as possible and when they reach the ogre... Simply blink over him, RUN and DON'T LOOK BACK! Any dead team mates will respawn at the checkpoint, no worries. [/spoiler] [b]Chests - Part 1[/b] [spoiler] Chest 1: Spawns behind a random door in The Cave. Tip 5: Wipe until the chest spawns behind the door to the left of the spawn circle in the cave Chest 2A: Spawned on a platformed entrance only accessible by jumping on a rock next to it then onto the platform Chest 2B: Follow the trail deeper onto the cave and there will be another chest that spawns on a platform just like Chest 2 but with the rock being on the opposite side Tip 6: After trying to get my brother the 2nd and 3rd chest, it appears that chest 2 and 3 are actually just one chest that is spawned randomly between those platforms. [/spoiler] [b]The GateKeepers[/b] [spoiler] A Guardian needs to stand on the middle plate on side A: this will start the process of constructing the bridge. Standing on the middle plate will also make the totems glow red and in time kill the entire team. You can stop them from glowing red by standing under them. The other 3 Guardians can then help out with enemies. Once the Knight with the sword comes out, start to kill him but don't finish him off until the bridge is complete. Tip 7: Don't try to cross the bridge unless your holding a Sword. You will die otherwise. Once the bridge is complete and a guardian has the sword, the guardian with the sword may run across the bridge to side B and kill the Gatekeeper (Blue Knight), but keep in mind that the plates should be kept in control through out the entire process. Also, Make sure each guardian who crosses kills their gatekeeper or it will make the process harder. Tip 8: Only the sword can Damage the Gatekeeper. Try a Slash slash smash combo. Once done, the sword will eventually disappear and another sworded knight will spawn. The next guardian will kill him and do the same as the first guardian, then the third will too. Tip 9: Try sending a Titan with Flash bangs over first, once the sword disappears he can flash bang the following Gatekeepers to make the process easier. Once there are 3 guardians on each side and the gatekeepers are dead. The 3 guardians on Side B can do the same as the guardians on side A by steppimg on the plates to keep the bridge up. Once the plates on side B are under your control, go ahead and let the guardians on side A step off and get the sword from the knight to cross the bridge and kill the gatekeeper. Do this for the rest of the Team until everyone has passed. To be continued...
