Iron Banner rewards are outrageous
How the -blam!- am I supposed to get to rank -blam!-ing four within a -blam!-ing week??? Bungie, HOW MUCH TINE DO YOU THINK I HAVE?! Last time I didn't even make it to rank -blam!-ing 2!! How do you expect me to make it to rank 4!? Bungie, is it so -blam!-ing hard for you to do something right for once?

Not that hard this time. Get the buff "Tempered". Complete the bounties. You will get gains.

Buy the Tempered buff, do the Bounties, wear the Shader and Emblem. You will level up super fast. I had limited play time this week and was able to hit rank 4. Also I will try for 5 tonight!

Get tempered buff. It helps a lot. Was on call this weekend but still managed to rank up once a night only playing about 3 hours at a time.

This one was actually pretty easy to level up. The bounties were all really easy and with the Temper you just get there really fast. My friend started playing friday and just by doing the bounties + rep for winning with temper got to level 5 easy.

I work 50-55 hours a week and commute an hour each way. I didn't start playing IB til Saturday night and I'm already at rank 3 1/2.

Tempered buff, the bounties are easier.

Take bounties, buy the buff, wear shaders and card, and win games. I found that rank 3 took me the most time. Rank 4 was quick, and rank 5 was almost completed just with bounties alone. It's not as daunting as it seemed at first.

You'll get 600 rep which is a lot and even more if you complete the nightfall and have the experience boost. 2. Lose. Seriously those medallions help. Don't get me wrong though, try and win buy you'll be surprised at how much a medallion will boost your rep. 3. Play with friends. The grind becomes less boring and being in a party with friends makes time pass more smoothly. 4. Make sure you have everything upgraded. If not, IB will be terribly miserable and you'll never want to keep playing. 5. Lastly, use the buff! Spend that mote of light and get that sucker! It helps so much and even more when you combine it with bounty completion and winning/medallion redemption!

I got to rank 5 with a full time job... Took some time but it's possible and not too too difficult

Thought the same way as you, but it's quite easy actually and in less time than that, if you buy the buff every 12 hrs or whenever you have time after it expires, the rewarded points increase plus if you have an emblem, shader, (cloak, bond or marks) all those three also give u bonus points, I've used the buff about three times and just by completing a single bounty I get 223 point for a 100 point bounty, plus I'm not sure but i think completing nightfall also gives u bonus points too. So I'm about to hit rank 4! And I started playin a day an a half after IB was released

Think of it this way.. I have done the raid every week twice and still am yet to get my raid gauntlets... That's 7 weeks work... Apart from all that. I was level 0 iron banner when it came out the other day and finished up level 5 quite easily... It's all about being good at the game sir. You don't get to the best level by not putting the time in... Hey Bungie lets make it easier to get to level 30 because I can't be arsed spending the time to get there if it's hard.. Lmao GTFO this forum.

I made it to 4 on two charecters....with the buff accelerating, it shortens the time required quite a bit

4 RepliesI say you need to do about 2 hours a day using the buff and bounties. I got it done in 2 nights getting to rank 4 didn't care for the scout and the shader. I did put a lot of time in. Is it worth going to rank 5? Its a lot of effort for very little!!!

... I dont get it... You probably dont have enough time to play, right? I got to 3 last time so it was easy to get to 4 this time around. But still, if you use saladins buff you can do that in 2 days with a couple of hours, easy.

You are just lazy, its easy! And btw you dont deserve it not everything should be given away for free. Be greatfull that it cost glimer because it could have been 100 crusible marks per item
