I've got no qualms with Xur per-se, nor his clients as I too dip into his wares. But Exotics are quite easy to acquire, even more-so than legendary items. In one week's grind one can easily acquire a massive coin collection while marks are capped at 100 per-week. However his primary clientele in-purpose are the Weekend Warriors, the casual players, in-general anyone who doesn't have the time to mass said coins much less farm in a manner the hardcore player-base is more familiar with. He is there to make sure the powercreep of a guardian isn't based on Time alone as hard-boiled players may have acquired every exotic within a year or two of the more casual player leading to a strong divide in the community between the quite superior, better equipped, more experienced sirs and the humble Guardian who knows little beyond the mere shadows that claim to be the Darkness. It's a fine line the devs played with him, and quite frankly so long as 50% of Exotic weapons remain off his list that are also excluded from bounties than I find myself content.

1 ReplyBlah blah blah. Doesn't matter what gear you have. If you suck at the game you suck at the game. I love that everyone in my Raid group has at least a Suros, Ice breaker or Gjallahorn. Means we can push ourselves to complete it faster and faster or that we can help people who haven't done it before. Doesn't make a difference in PVP, I can still pwn with my Galahad-C.

Xur in my opinion should sell legendary gear and not exotics, so players can still be helped but at the same time everyone's inventory doesn't get flooded and exotics become more rare/unique. But whatever lol

they best keep xur till they implement an in game economy through trading. or it may be too late now with exotics already having over saturated the game ruining their worth? either way the rng is horrible and xur/nightfalls are the only constants in this game

[b]Xur spawn Every 2 weeks/ make the SC ( strange coins ) by 4 more extra ex. So since weapons are 23= 27 n armour 13 or 17 both to 20 a piece. Make them hard to get. Too many ppl with exotics recently. What they gonna make an item called "super exotics?" Thats just plain stupid. If they were able to nerf lootcave and legend engrams why not exotics/ Xur?[/b] [u][b]Edit[/b][/u]: Nightfall should be the only way to gain Exotics/ legendaries ( random ) once a week which i think is fair. But getting Xur every week is too much. Soon ppl will bitch that his items are expensive and theyll nerf every exotic we obtained.
