I kind of feel like he's good for the first few months to boost everyone to raid standard but then he should be dropped, everyone has a fair share of exotics they don't need more, and new players pay the price for not early adopting.

And here we see the common Xur Cryer in its natural habitat. Observe as it sheds tears profusely as it's cousin species the "Xurner" obtains a rare and mystical item know as an exotic in exchange for these odd coins they harvest throughout the days.

the only way I can see them getting rid of xur is by adding certain exotic drops to certain bosses. an example would be like 10 percent drop of icebreaker on phogoth (probably spelled it wrong) tiger strike

2 RepliesExotic gear is only easy to get from Xur if you spend every hour of every day leveling your character to the point that you can complete nightfall strikes on heroic with 3 different characters. For those that do not/can not spend as much time, obtaining gear is harder. At the end of the day, however much you play, with Xur you need to have played the game and earn strange coins/motes of light. Obtaining Exotics from random drops is just luck. Nothing more, nothing less. You may play 5 minutes and get lucky. You may play 40 hours and never see a Drop that turns into an exotic. What I do hope is that in the future, there are some extremely hard mission quests, which you must complete in order to obtain an Exotic. Bit like the Exotic bounties but with more PvE emphasis brought in.

RNG drops don't happen everyday so I definitely think that Xur should at least sell his items at a higher price. I can stockpile coins easily within a week or two and get 2-3 items. Its a bit ridiculous.

I have tons of exotics he hasn't sold yet and I would totally be cool with him selling any exotic I have because people earned their strange coins and did more work than I did just getting lucky at RNG. Stop whining and focus on your own game and stop worrying so much about others.

4 Replies1st mistake was thinking your playing a typical mmorpg cuz ur not there is no rarity system in case you didt see but damn neer every item in game can be easily obtained from buying it from a faction vendor , xur or bounty aside from raid gear witch is why its end game content just remember this is not WoW or some other mmorpg online were there is epic items that only drop once in a million years ... you need to make a real post about unique customization or something worth QQ'ing over atlest cuz face it exotics are a dime a dozen i have white armor thats more rare then any exotic you can find

It's supposed to be easy. Everyone is supposed to be running around with one exotic weapon and one exotic armor equipped. The question is how you'll mix and match your gear. If you want exclusivity, look into raid gear or Iron Banner stuff.
