Remember when the Iron Banner was supposed to use your weapons and stats and not just be Crucible with a different bounties skin? Remember when Crucible was supposed to be fair for everyone and the nerfing of weapons weren't supposed to affect PVE or Iron Banner? Remember when they said we would have better weapons than everyone else if we completed the raid on hard? Remember when we were supposed to be able to go anywhere we could see on the map and not have a 4 second kill timer everywhere instead? Need I go on?

I have nearly 2 days played (not a lot I know) and have never seen a legendary engram. I'm not convinced they exist. I managed to get my first legendary armor piece (helmet) via RNG last night, from a blue engram, AND it was for my class! I was like holy shit do you have to put in nearly 2 days before you catch a break?! Then today, less than 24 hours later, Xur is selling the helm I want... /sigh.

Somebody clearly didn't take advantage of an education. The patch said that legendary engrams won't give you [i]rare[/i] items as much anymore. It also said that rare engrams won't give common weapons anymore.

3 RepliesNever said that. Said purples would be purple now. I can guarantee u that they lowered the drop rate. And to be honest...we get stuff too fast. Yeah, I said it...too fast. I have like 15+ exotic weapons. 3 pieces of exotic armor for every class and like 8 pieces of raid gear. Remember when ppl were all frantic after a week, standing at a Loot cave. Fast forward a few weeks and everyone is 28-30 and has alts. Maybe the drop rate is fine...or too high.

1 ReplyThey made ascendant materials legendary and gave them a higher roll rate than everything else In the engram. They didn't exactly lie, they just left out the part about the materials. They're really trying hard to keep us from getting loot.

8 RepliesI've upgraded my crypt probably 3 times since the patch and haven't gotten a single purple from the package. I haven't gotten a single purple from a patrol either. I've gotten probably 3 purples since the patch, from strikes, and only 1 came out to be a legend. The other 2 were mats. I don't even care about engrams anymore, bungie killed the excitement

2 RepliesDid they lie? I haven't had a single purple engram decrypt to anything but ascended materials and purple gear I don't need. No blues from them though. I think I've only gotten 3 since the patch.

Now if you see a purple, it's a guaranteed purple, whereas before it only had a higher chance to be purple. Nothing has changed. Bungie just scrambled some colors around so the ignorant cry babies such as yourself would shut up. If only it were more effective.
