The Different Types of Destiny Raiders
The different types of Destiny players I've met when finding random groups through lfg for VoG:
The Weed-man: can't stop talking about how high he is, how great his weed is, and constantly broadcasts himself coughing. Usually really bad at the game and doesn't do anything he is supposed to do.
The "Experinced" know-it-all: joins and tells everyone how amazing they are at the game/VoG, and then proceed to suck so bad they continually wipe the group for hours. "I cleared hard mode this week like 10 times bro, I know what I'm doing."
The Distracted Guy: responds about 20% of the time to requests made by the group to do certain tasks in the raid. Always responds with "yeah I'm here" in the rare case that they do respond. Proceed to do their own thing and are dead 95% of the time.
The Rage Quitter: plays with the group until there's a wipe or something doesn't go their way. They don't say anything but just drop the Fireteam.
The Good Raider: the rarest person to find. They know what to do, are patient, and don't freak out when someone dies but instead helps recover and move on.
Sometime you get people who fit into more than one type as well.

Don't forget the no skill and no connection player. This person manages to die first, fail the VoG parkour five times in a row, and also manages to give your whole fireteam horrible connection so u spend like 5-6 hours doing one raid. Just found someone like this recently and when he had to go we had full green bars and no lag, he then msged me to reinvite and I refused for the sake of the team. Then this idiot says "I wasn't causing the lag." Really? I mean seriously I messages him before that that we had gotten full green bar right after he left.

The belcher: the player who summons up the nastiest form of burps that sound like they are full of stomach acid and partially digested food particles. It's so bad you can almost smell the horrible cloud of gas that erupted from his bowels.

Don't forget the kinderguardian that just got a shiny new Gjallerhorn... And won't stop shooting it at Atheon no matter how many times you try to get him to stop! honestly I was really surprised that group actually finished it out.. Only 2 of us knew what we were doing lol.

I'm the good raider, pro sword/relic bearer(but not cocky about it), and a little but of a jokester. My raids will start out all business but eventually they will go in a direction where I may make someone uncomfortable lol usually everyone just laughs and I do it to ease the tension

3 RepliesI'm "That Guy": has fun on the raid, helps new folks by explaining stuff, usually sucks right up until the end and then kicks the boss' ass without a hiccup. Not sure why that happens.

Go complain somewhere else about how much you hate people, I mean seriously most people are great to have on your team, and some people sometimes have kids and so they aren't going to respond immediately every time. Are there still people like you talked about? Obviously, but you can't categorize people into all of those categories, saying that almost no one is good (and making yourself feel superior to everyone) so get your cancer out of the forums. My clan is full of good raiders. That's what we do for lower levels and I'm glad to see that someone has noticed.

3 RepliesHow about the kids..we had a group of 3 of them join and im one to give everyone a go but i knew it would be a waste of time..we join in as one kids mum shouts him for his tea so one afk before we spawn so we do sync plates and wait for door to open but i notice these -blam!-ers are running around at spawn point trying to kill adds and dying..i mentioned we can move forward and get no response..i lose my shit a little after 5 minutes and not one of them responds..i love vog but this made me think why bother..i will now judge people from how sqeaky they are
