Congratz Bungie. You have removed 100% desire to do queen's wrath
Your removal of ALL shards from dismantling the queen's rewards give me exactly 0 reason to do this event. What a gross overreaction to the situation.
Here is how you should have handled it:
1) remove the level 2 mission from the playlist. I agree, this was way too fast to get shards
2) nerf the shard count to 1 or 2.
Getting 2 shards for a 30 minute mission that is pretty tough is a fair reward for something that is temporary.

I didn't get the armor only i also had a sniper (legendry) and a jumpship(legendary) and a friend of mine got ice breaker

2 RepliesBecause not everyone is decked out in all legendary gear. I suppose it was meant for people that don't play as much to gear up but still have to work for the maximum level reward. I think it was a necessary removal

I couldn't agree more. Terrible way to handle this. Those missions could be annoying with the right skulls. To take away any exciting reward has ruined it.

Bungie forcing people to play how they want you to so much for saying it's up to the player how they play the game. Another horrible decision to chalk up.

Exactly, OP. I was only doing them to get the shards to upgrade my Dead Orbit armor. Any desire to work for the bitch Queen has just disappeared into the Void. No reason to even go see her emissary now.

Agree. The missions in general can be very difficult, especially if it gives you some of the later story missions. The cabal psions with shields are just brutal later on and the rewards you get for the most part aren't that great. Eliminating the ability completely to get shards pretty much kills any reason to do these bounties unless you are a fresh level 20 with no purple gear. It seems to me they just want to keep people doing the repetitive grind of the weak and boring strikes. You want me to play strikes? OK...add a level 26 strike playlist. There is no point to me playing a level 24 strike.

Exactly. there is absolutely no reason at all to do that now. Unless you want to win the same helmet over and over again.

2 Replies...I'm so dumbfounded right now. Why would you work on these bounties now? If you have a legendary chest and helmet, these bounties are now 100% worthless.
