First exotics thread
Let's start up a thread sharing our first exotics and their story, whether it's armor or weapons, whether you earned it through an engram or bounty or Xur.
Mine is the Icebreaker sniper rifle. I earned it through a legendary engram from leveling the Cryptarch to level 5 and it's SICK

My very first exotic weapon was truth. Received it from a legendary engram in the crucible. My fiancé was playing while I was eating and she did horrible. That was like Thursday at the start of week two. I remember it well because when Xur came on Friday I chose to save my strange coins because I already had an exotic launcher -_-... My real first exotic was mask of the third man which I just upgraded with Xur this week. I was always debating on not doing it since I didn't wanna level it again but I did anyways.

First was Thorn. I still have it, but I've been using scout rifles for a while now. MIDA had become my primary of choice.

Day 3 got alphi lupi from my first legendary engram on a strike at the same time got legendary gloves from a blue engram

Bad juju, but honestly the truth was the first real exotic I got.

1 ReplyBeing a destiny player since day 1, i still remember how hard the first nightfall strike ever in destiny was. Me and my team had absolutely no idea what we had to deal with. We were all lvl 26 back then and did almost no damge to the 28 enemies with our bad green and blue weapons. I'm a titan and hoped for a legendary auto rifle all the time because i had never seen an exotic before. We ended up playing more than 3 hours on that first nightfall strike, wasted so many synthesis and nerves on it until we finally beat sepiks prime... the hunter on our team was pretty unlucky with ascendant energy as his reward, my other friend (the warlock) got the nifty sunbreakers for his warlock and I couldn't believe my eyes what i just got. The SUROS-Regime, my first ever exotic... it was definitely worth the time we spend in destiny's 1st nightfall. Immediately went into crucible with the suros and since then it was my only weapon to go... That's the story of my first exotic

Heart of the Praxic Fire from a legendary engram the day after cryptarch patch. Still have it in its 1.0 version too xD

I earned the Plan C from a legendary engram a while back, when the first loot cave was still around.

P&T is my first exotic and it's never been fully upgraded. Got it from the 2nd nightfall release, me and a buddy was both Lvl 26 at the time. It took us nearly 3hrs to complete because all the wipes. That same day, I got the ice breaker from Atheon on normal, then Xur sold it the next day. Remember the days when seeing a Lvl 29-30 was a sight to behold. Lol

just got my first exotic. It was rewarded at the end of a vanguard roc strike. Got me the Suros Regime. I was excited. Being it's my first.
