How long we have to whait until Automatic Rifles are banned from PvP ?
[u][b]UPDATE: [/b] [/u]Okay people that dont really understand me.... i just have the problam that i dont really feel a Variety in PvP... 80% of the Enemy are Hunter and 95% are people that use Automatics... it looks just boring... you get killed all the time by 4 diffrent types of Automatics (most of the time with ridiculous high RPM)... i quess because its about 95% that use this kind of weapons in PvP (and i know how hard they can push your "skill" in PvP... just remember Beta) the people start to butthurt. Just flaming me beeing bad... even i didnt say that i lose all the time of Automatics... maybe you just have to check the statistics... its not hard here on Bungie.net

... because if not, in a couple of weeks everyplayer have to play with Automatics in PvP... this things are universal. I first tought "oh man Destiny has Iron Sights... this will become an Casual shooter at it finest" and than i saw that there are many diffrent guns that are not that "OP" with this system... and of course automatics... first i didnt saw them that much... but now i see the most time this Shingen weapons and others... in combination with the over population of Hunter = it looks dark for the PvP.
And didnt the Hunter complained about the other classes first ? And now they are the most annoying class in PvP...
Thats not Counter Strike where you have an Spray pattern... here you just have to correct a little bit and have the biggerst DPS. . . that was my biggerst problem at the BETA and it still is a problem.
If you think that Automatics are not that "OP" than post why (and pls compare it to OTHER Primary Weapons)

I had been using hand cannons in PvP. Then I switched back to a pulse rifle. It felt like I had just flipped the easy mode switch. My kd jumped by two points immediately. I think the ease of use is why people use those weapons.

In fact if you're pointing an AR at a titan, you're wasting your time.

You have the ability to use all the same weopons and as someone else said my sunsinger has consistly out done a bladedancer its mainly about headshots and teamwork of ypu want tp win. If you go running around like a hero you are going to het destroyed.

AR is used most because it's versatile. It's not the best at anything, but not lacking in most areas.

My sunsinger has won a melee might with blade dancer. Hand cannons can kill in 2-3 shots, etc. the list goes on. The reason you see auto rifles a lot is that they are the usually the only full auto primary weapon in play.

5 RepliesWhen you have what...4 different primaries with little to no variation, handcannon is almost worthless in pvp, autorifle is more effective at burst than the burst is, you really only have three options...semi or auto and in which case semi is useless in close maps...auto is useful in both. Now you see why autorifle is picked. Maybe if they had a better selection of guns there would be a bigger variety, but at the moment the autorifle is just the go to gun for the majority.

Shingen has horrible impact and turns into a pea shooter with horrible aim at any type of range. Tired of people being mad because the things they like arent the dominate forces in the game. The same guns are there for everyone to use, its not like your stuck using bs guns till you play enough to unlock the best weapons. If youre running around inside with a scout rifle and a sniper youre the one doing it wrong. Auto rifle user arent complaining about how "everytime I run out in the open I get picked off in 2-3 shots" yet their the noobs right.

Auto rifles are the most common gun in every game of course you will see them the most, aka easiest to use... fusion rifles and shotguns and you MAY have a point, but auto rifles, really? They take the easiest amount of skill to counter.. good luck getting them removed from crucible. Not happening.

4 RepliesThe reason that autos shouldn't be banned is because they are fine as is. I may use an auto nearly all the time but that's because I, as well as a lot of people, prefer them. I've seen scout rifles 3 shot people easy. I've been beaten in gunfights by pulse rifles many times. And the hand cannons? I dunno, but I've battled against some people using swagnums in rumble a few times. And they beat me and my "OP" 900 rpm auto. In my opinion, the 900 rpm is the worst gun in the game. If your still anal about autos then think of a possible solution (read "nerf") that COULD work instead of requesting that 33% of primaries be removed from the game.
