My vote. Use both.
We need both. Voice with others around.
Text for long distance. Your clan or friend list. Everybody whose on line. You want voice chat for 30, 80, 148 clan members.
It's not either or. It's give us both dam it! We need to communicate!
I am seeing posts about players leaving PVP.
So players are getting upset. It's ruining their "experience". Bungie your words! Take PVP out of the game, it's ruining players experience!
That's the train of thought. Be our mommies.
I don't have a problem with text chat. But I think voice chat should be the priority here. When ppl suggest text chat/ keyboard. I feel like its an alternative and Bungie may decide to go with that as a compromise. I dread that to happen
Bungie needs to go all out.
They are all needed in different situations.
Proxy will not help you communicate with your clan on line. An open mic could, but you ask a question to 36 players( clansmen ) your going to hear noise. Do it on text, you see it written out, and who said it.
Proxy is needed, open world or in the tower.
If we are trying to fix the game, let's get it right.
IDC, that's not how I play. I'm either solo or with a group of friends. No clan. Point is, I think there should be both. But voice chat should be the main priority.
I'm not going to say no text chat, because I will likely not use it. That's self center and extremely unfair. But if there can't be both, I'm choosing voice chat every second of every day. We have controllers in our hands, not keyboards. When I said no text chat, I said it because I think Bungie will choose one or the other.
