Centipede: Kennesaw State University (and others)
So I know a lot of people are getting said error, I just need some outside opinions.
I am on a Uni internet, however it is a separate from the main internet solely meant for gaming. The NAT is moderate for certain reasons, however I can play all games perfectly fine.
Who's side is this most likely on? Bungie or me?
Edit: I press A to play, then it says "singing in, verifying, checking content, then kicks me out. Am I even connecting to the servers?
Edit: Kennesaw State students, I just hard wired onto the normal internet and now I'm getting the marionberry error code when trying to connect.
Update: another user states he believes th e servers for Destiny may be a peer-to-peer hybrid. As we know, we are prevented from playing with each other due to peer-to-peer restrictions. Is this the fault?

1 ReplyUPDATE: I received a reply from IT and here is what they said: We have had several complaints regarding the game Destiny but please do not fret. The issue does not rely on our network, but with the programming of the game created by Bungie. Please refer to Bungie’s PSA for the Centipede bug: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/66486580/0/0 KSU Housing does not block any ports, such as, Destiny Port Range Direction 7500-17899 (TCP) Outbound 30000-40399 (TCP) Outbound 35000-35099 (UDP) Inbound and Outbound 3074 (UDP) Inbound and Outbound Bungie has not properly coded, nor fixed the long reported centipede bug for the game to work in a school environment. They should be working on a timely fix for this issue and I would advise directing complaints to their forums, as every other game on Xbox Live and Playstation Network has been programmed to work in school environments.

I also go to Ksu and same thing happened to me. I even have my own router and everything, but it's plugged into the Ksu jack, so I guess this prevents pvp play! Which dosnt make since because I can play other pvp games?! I've also tried the port forwarding and trying to adjust my NAT type to open, but it still gives me centipede. I say we ask the IT to make an exception to the game. Hopefully they'll be okay with this and allow us to finally play...

Also at Kennesaw State, also went to the midnight release, also having the same issue and also getting really frustrated with said issue in conjunction with KSU's internet (policy), considering the tech fees and the rent that we pay. Please let me know if I can help this along. Otherwise, keep us up to date.

Kennesaw State here as well. Went to the midnight release and everything, got back to the dorm and was nothing less of disappointed. To either party reading this (Bungie or Kennesaw IT), please fix this if you can.
