I've been saying that hand cannon has more of a place in the special slot than the primary, but now I'm not so sure. It's not like I've come to a revelation or anything (as of now they're still just basically crappy scout rifles). I just think that it may be a little premature to request any changes to the weapon, whether it's a change in slot or a change in the fire rate, critical damage, impact, or whatever people are wanting. They may just be weak at this stage of the game, making a drastic leap in performance in the later stages when the item quality increases. Heck, they may even end up being the go-to weapon for hunters with the different perks the class gets for them. I'd like to wait and see how they work out so we're not preemptively making them OP, ya'know?

Because hand cannons aren't really special. It's a pistol, not some godly weapon that people will run from. It's a primary weapon and nothing more

That is the point the handcannon is not your crutch for your bad aim. If you need to reload then run I assume you are at a distance since you didn't decide to pull out a shot gun or fusion rifle to finish them off.
