Destiny has flopped on an epic scale!
You played the alpha or beta right? So you already know that I am telling you the truth.
I put a lot of hours in around a friend's house on playing the Alpha (pvp & strikes) and campaign and then played briefly on last gen on the campaign open Beta.
Bungie have fallen from their pedestal, with a thump.
That car crash of different game genres that is Destiny. Halo good game, Borderlands good game, Mass effect good game, merge all three you would think you were onto a winner right? Wrong[spoiler]you would be if Bungie didn't develop it.[/spoiler]
How can you -blam!- up completely what could be epic?
Washy graphics (PS4 & 360 versions tested, yes I know resolution & possibly fps will be uprated on release) [spoiler]Lets hope that sorts that out hey![/spoiler]
Broken HUD
Poor UI
Awful MP (PVP etc)
No quad split screen
Uninspiring merge of Earth history parody and Halo/Mass effect story line.
Rank system can currently be abused, let's go farming?
I was expecting better Bungie, let's hope this travesty can be rectified by 09/09/14.
Destiny is a Poor man's Borderlands, KillZone, COD and Mass Effect.
Halo 3 was Bungie's best title by far, Oh how the mighty have fallen!

Any problem there is with the gsme can be fixed, and this thread could lead to changes. Just like dozens of other threads that give criticism. That's what Alpha/Beta gameplay is for. Was it supposed to be perfect on the test phases? I don't understand the people that are canceling over what they saw in a sample.

The game has not even been released yet, and quite frankly, a game is successful based on the number of units sold and number of people playing. At this point it would seem that Destiny will not flop. Your complaints about abusing the rank system... grinding/farming are, in my mind, off base. This isn't a shooter for shooters sake. Borderlands does a lot of the same grinding and farming for good gear. Destiny just takes it in a slightly different way. You also want quad screen. This won't happen, as this game was designed for online purposes, meaning that local co-op is almost completely out of the question. You want this game to be what you want. So do a lot of others. In a lot of people's minds, Destiny will save Bungie and bring them into a renewed place of victory. This is because they either thoroughly enjoyed the beta and alpha, or because they are confident in Bungie and their abilities. Others may share your OPINION but that doesn't make anything you say a fact. You offer NO supporting evidence which means that you are merely creating a hypothesis. Then you have the gall to be rude to people who disagree with your hypothesis. These are the reasons why no one really takes you seriously, and will buy the game anyways. I recognize that I have just fed a beast of mythical proportions, but I couldn't in good order let the idiocy continue. As for myself, I have certain issues with the game, but will happily overlook them because I actually enjoyed the nontraditional shooter elements. Oh, and before I finish. You call Destiny a poor man's Borderlands, etc. I don't think Activision would be spending 500 million dollars on a poor man's anything. Speaking as one who played both Borderlands, I hated them. They didn't work for me as I didn't like the story, the way the RPG elements were incorporated or even the handling with a controller. Not to mebtion that if Destiny is all those games in one, thats just a huge bonus. 1 game competing against all of those and having some of the best elements of each.
