blatant skyrim rip off
Doesn't take much to figure out how badly bungie are trying to mimic Bethesda.
Warlock = mage
Titan = warrior
Hunter = thief
The awoken bare an uncanny resemblance to the dark elves and as posted in another thread, there's even talk of the 9 divines.
To make skyrim the same as destiny all I have to do is add the dwarven guns mod.

It's pretty easy to link any class to a similar class in games like this, I could argue skyrim is trying to be a non MMO WoW, that doesn't mean it's true. You just generalized the entire fantasy/sci-fi genre into one game. If you can't appreciate the differences in these games, then you're probably in the wrong genre. Because all fantasy stories, whether it be games, movies, or books, generally have more than a few traits in common.

OMG this game is a total ripoff. Well, every game has reference, just because it has some "elements" that "may" be similar to Skyrim, does not make it a rip off. If you really want to say that any game is close to Skyrim, look at Dragon Age Inquisition. This game will be an open world RPG and will also have: [b]Dragons Mages Warriors Rogues - Thief[/b] So my point has been proven. I need not say more.

Also, Skyrim has lots of moons ... And so does Destiny! The main character in Skyrim is an upright biped ... And so is Destiny's! Total rip off. I've cancelled my preorder already (mainly because I picked the wrong console when ordering, d'oh!)

Why is it that every time a game is made someone trys to compare it to another? Also "ANY" games that allow mods can be made to look like others even to the extream where you can't tell them apart, just needs lots of coding. So that point is invalid. Also for the class? Every game with a class base system uses the same or simular names. And no Skyrim wasn't the first I beleave table top Dungeons and Dragons was.

4 RepliesBethesda should really consider taking legal action against Bungie, and other games that have variants of the Fighter/ Mage/ Rogue concept, such as: EA Games for Mass Effect, Dragonage 2K Games for Boarderlands Activision for War For Cybertron,Heretic/ Hexen, Warcraft, Diablo Valve for Team Fortress Sony for EverQuest From Software for the Souls series Wizards Of The Coast/ Hasbro for Dungeons And Dragons And so many more.

So really, what you're saying is that the lions will be king again and all shall bow down to Mufasa? Just making sure I'm following the topic correctly. So what you're saying is that you are the first one to ever say this about some game that has been based off of a general genre that people enjoy, and we just need to revert back to telling stories in a cave because everything else is just a blatant knock off and we cannot have that in a world of individuality and hard work. Where everyone earns their dollar on their idea, not working for some business or producing a product? I'm not sure that I could follow all that and I wrote it....
