So I called up the asian PSN customer support. As usual, they went "DURR NOT OUR PROBLEM" and just told me to go make a european account instead. I just created a UK account to download the beta.

This is really disappointing, sounds like it's more an issue with Bungie in the end not giving the correct codes for different regions or not covering all the bases like they implied through their FAQ. Some official word on this would be great. Are we gonna have similar issues with future events or other codes after launch??

The good news is I'm able to play on my asian PSN account after downloading the beta, so you just need to sign up for a UK account just to redeem the code and download the beta.
