Favoring Sony
Doesn't it seem a little messed up to anyone else that bungie is giving playstation users early access to the beta as well as exclusive content that xbox users will not get until next year, while xbox gets no bonuses whatsoever? The xbox fan base has been the community that has stuck with Bungie for the last ten years, and there's no doubt Bungie has achieved this level of popularity due to its hardcore fans on the xbox. I know that many people like me purchased the xbox systems specifically for the Halo franchise, and personally, i find it really sad that Bungie would decide to not reward their original fan base in anyway.
Edit: I should have mentioned this in my original post, but I'm buying Destiny for both x1 and ps4, and I think both consoles are equal, I just what equal content for all users.

Not favoring Sony. Made exclusive deal. Halo was Xbox only due to Exclusive deal. DEAL with it ... until 2015.

It isn't Bungie, it's Activision. They control who gets early access, dlc exclusivity, and things like that. The developer (Bungie) makes the game and the publisher (Activision) controls advertising and everything else.

2 RepliesSony ponied up money for the development of Destiny, it's only fair that they get something out of that. Maybe Microsoft will start throwing money at them as well. It's a business, first and foremost. This kind of thing breads competition and that pushes the market. I'm an Xbox Player, and yes, I'm okay with PS4 gamers getting a little extra. Hopefully, Microsoft is paying attention and acts accordingly. Lets also mention, Play station fans have been getting the shaft in Call of Duty for years.

4 RepliesWell, Sony has the better machine and probably jumped more resources and money in to Destiny seeing the huge potential there. Sorry but those are the facts. I have both, the PS4 easily is the more powerful machine. The DLC business everyone gets unless you just started gaming. COD, Evolve, and Division DLC aren't enough for you? It's expansion material and should not affect your enjoyment of Destiny in the least. At least they got 1080p for you Xbox One only people, which you wouldn't have gotten without them. It's already dumbed down a bit to 30 fps BECAUSE of console parity for this gen ' s little underperformer. Be grateful you even got it as good you did. Gaming is not a necessity for you to live, it's entertainment. This entitled generation of people becoming adults lately is awfully whiny.

They are, they have a paying contract with Sony and antipathy towards M$. It's because of Halo 3; Bungie wanted to stop the series and move on. M$ didn't want that ( money duh), so after being pressured into Reach they said no mas.

It's not Bungie doing this, the publisher (Activision) made a deal with Sony, and all Bungie can do is nod their head and say yes.

For the last 10 years bungie has had a huge base of fans from xbox and only xbox this is bungie telling PS fans this is what they are about, so to do that PS gets stuff first in the end it equals more money for them

i wouldn't point a finger at bungie, after all they had nothing to do with setting up the deal with PS. dont point the finger at activision either. point the finger at the entire industry. it an industry wide practice now to give console favoritism to the highest bidder. Is it fair? no, its not but the only way i see to combat this tactic is to not buy the games that give exclusives to one console over another, hitting them in there wallet is the only way to combat this. We wont be playing many games at all if we did this since this practice is industry wide, but hey, at least we will send a message right??
