Hey, Oldfomans...
So I see a lot of the best posters around all the time, but it seems like we've gotten lazy.
Has posting new threads become a Newfag's game?
Or is it just that we've talked about every single thing there is to talk about?
If it's just that we're lazy, maybe we should et our asses in gear.
This place has become an utter shithole recently, and not because of user absence, but because of lack of thread propagation.
I guess this isn't helping, but I struggle to find a new and interesting thread these days, or even a cheap chuckle.

1 ReplyWhy put the time and effort into making good threads when they're just going to get ignored by the newfigs and buried beneath piles of shit that they spew? I've contemplated making some rather lengthy threads on various social and political issues in order to try and foster some good discussion, but honestly what's the point? If the threads aren't ignored you better hope your political opinions mirror that of a certain group on this forum or you're going to find yourself muted and harassed with hate filled messages every day from people using hundreds of alts.

6 RepliesEven on B.old I made a thread once in a blue moon. Responding to threads has always been more my style than making new ones.

I rarely make threads and when I do, they tend to get ignored unless they're about shitty/controversial topics, so I just stopped caring enough to. The last time I made a thread it was about the debate over whether police should be allowed to pursue fleeing suspects and I figured, given all the police haters in this group, it would be a lively discussion with great points on either side... I got almost no responses. Unless you're making a shit/bait post, I think it's hard to attract attention here.
