I got some small scratches on my macbook. Does anyone know how they can be removed? Macbooks use anodized aluminum.

Just wash it in a sink filled with warm soapy water.

1 ReplyUse a huge magnet. In theory the metal from the bottom of the scratch will be lifted to the level of the magnet, so just rub it around right on the case.

Apple support will tell you you can fix it for the cheap price of $2000

A high power magnet usually does the trick. A corrosive acid will work just as good too.

Put a sticker over it?

Have you tried deleting system 32? That unhinges the program keeping the laptop case shut, after doing that you can safely remove it and buff out the scratches.

I'm not lying. You have to put toothpaste on it and let it go through about two washes in your toilet. Trust me.

Cover it with a bigger scratch. (Really though, find some stuff at a hardware store for fixing scratches on aluminum)
