Microsoft selling XB1 at 400 dollars if you "ditch" your PS3

2 RepliesI feel this is a somewhat shady and greedy deal by MS. Not because it has anything to do with Sony, but with no backwards compatability on the XBone, and with the poor lineup of titles on the way , on top of the fact that they stated they would continue to support the 360, and with the rumors of updates and a lower cost XBone. It feels like a desperate trick to sell off as many.Ones, before a lower cost version comes out.

18 Replies#MicrosoftSUPERdamagecontrol Xbox One being a new console is irrelevant, the PS3 is still a far better console. There are actually GAMES I can play on the PS3 that are worth more than two shits. Also if I had $400 and wanted to get a next gen console, I would just keep the PS3 and buy a PS4 since all the games I want for next gen are Multi-plat. This is just damage control for Microsoft at this point, they realize the PS4 is blowing MS out of the water and they need to save face bad.

3 RepliesTo be frank, the ps3 was garbage in comparison to the 360 for the same reasons people argue the xbox one is awful, that and they give you the option to give a 360 or ps3 for 100$ off so all they're really doing is helping you out. 100$ is far more than what your get at GameStop

Its nothing against Sony there are giving you $100 off when you trade in a 360 or ps3 trade your old gen for a new gen kind of deal not to convert you.

Thats still only trading it for only 100 bucks.. I know at least a few people who would buy my PS3 off me for more than 100 bucks and even gamestop would take it for 120 to 150 dollars.

You could probably get more than $100, depending on the model. It's a funny offer, and I don't see anything wrong with it, but it doesn't make me want to run out and drop hundreds of bucks just to play more video games.
