Hey,
How much better is Mass Effect 3 on PC than on Xbox/PS3? I have it on X360, but don't like it very much due to low framerate etc. How's the FPS on PC? Can it reach 60? And are the (maxed out) graphics better than on console? Are there any good mods?
Played it through only once because of the ending, but I wanna try it again :P

Not really.

These kind of questions are the main reason I'm interested in a Steam machine.

10 RepliesOf course it can reach 60. ANY game can reach 60FPS or higher if you have good enough hardware.

8 RepliesI've never, ever heard framerate issues in the console versions of Mass Effect 3. The PC version most likely has better graphics, because it's the PC version. It also runs on the Unreal engine, so you should get pretty good framerates with any decent computer.

There's nothing wrong with the framerate on the console version.

Graphics are better yes, your fps depends on your computer though.

I've played it on PC and would say it is better. However the framerate isn't something I paid much attention to, so I can't comment on that but I assume you can google it. Mods/character generators or another will also make campaign a bit more fun. It also just feels better when shooting with mouse/keyboard. I dunno, more "rewarding" or something.

Of course. Yes. Not sure about mods.
