Edit: To answer the question, I would start shooting everywhere. People won't even notice the stain with all them bullets flyin' everywhurz.

Keep in mind, when you discover the stain, you're still in your home. So by firing bullets everywhere, all that happens is your neighbor calls the cops, you might get arrested, and possibly have your medal and maybe even your Guardian status revoked.
