20 RepliesConsidering the damage from when the Xbox 360 launched because they rushed it out ignoring the issues, a mistake that cost them greatly, it's worrisome that it may be the same again. They weren't running games on Xbox One's at e3, not a surprise in of itself but it goes to show that now that the hardware is being used, there's failure rates. There may be a repeat of 2005 where they put it out when it isn't ready. Also wasn't the PS4 thing due to cabling issues and not the system itself? Pretty sure I heard that about it afterwards. Sony has a pretty good track record with Hardware, not so much MS. RROD was a HUGE deal. I wonder what would is more likely to happen, a push back of the system launch to fix hardware issues, or a Billion dollar 3 year fixing of a launch problem. We'll see what happens.

Honestly, I don't judge a console until the creators say it's ready. Microsoft has said that they are still working on the console (we even recently saw an upgrade). I was disappointed by the PS4's performance since they were saying it was ready to blow us away and ship out. Still, I'm not going to judge either harshly until they're out.
