Could solidus snake be in Metal Gear Solid 5?

Is it a possiblity that Solidus Snake will be in MGSV? I mean we all know he was using child soldiers at the time of "a civil war", and this game is obviously going to be relevant to child soldiers >But OP, Solidus would be 12 in this game Correct, however we all know that during the les enfant teribles project they artifically shortened Snake's life span, and he was an imperfect clone of Big Boss. We also know that Soldius was clearly older than Snake during MGS2. So with that said, it is entirely possible that the artificial shortening of life was made even worse on Solidus Snake, given that he was a perfect clone of Big Boss, do get him up to his prime quicker andaward him with the presidency from the patriots. Futhermore, this game seems to be setting up the relationship between FoxHound, ore specifically between Liquid, Ocelot and Psycho Mantis. And Ocelot was in cahootz with Solidus in MGS1, so perhaps this game also sets up a relationship between them as well? I mean it's unlikely, but possible and speculation is fun

  • There's another theory that Punished Snake is a new clone, in the preview of the game is says: "V is coming" (or something like that), it could just be referring to it being the 5th game (V is roman numeral for 5 duh) but some think it's referring to the 5th snake; Naked Snake/Big Boss #1 Solid & Liquid Snake #2 & 3 Solidus Snake #4 Punished Snake #5? I personally disagree with this theory, but it is interesting to think about

  • He better be, Solidus was the hero we deserved, but fgt Raidan has to -blam!- everything up.

  • I don't think the accelerated aging would have kicked in at that point. Look at Solid; his didn't kick in until between MGS2 and MGS4. Even if it had started affecting Solidus during TPP, he'd still be too emotionally immature to lead armies of child soldiers.

    • He was in the Liberian civil war. MGS V is about the soviet-afghan mujahedeen war.

      • I still don't understand Solidus. Why did he need to be a perfect clone of Big Boss? Did the Patriots pretend he was Big Boss for his popularity so they could get him in as President? If not, didn't the people realise the most powerful man in the world looked identical to the greatest soldier of the 20th century, a pop culture figure featured on magazines and such in the vein of El Che? Did Solid Snake never see who the President was? I don't get it.
