An anime-esq series about various over powered yet under dressed female warriors fighting their enemies in a world of stilted speech and mind-numbingly lame combat that looks like a 12 year old is throwing toys at eachother and adding speed lines. Why does all of that sound so familiar and unthrilling?

I watched it and thought, "Meh." Then I watched all the trailers, watched it again, and loved it. Thought that was odd and worth sharing. I only dislike the art style and that is probably just because I'm a much bigger fan of more classic anime art style. There's a point in the episode where they show a little news clip, would much prefer that art style. Very attractive. Aesthetically pleasing.

Its nice to see Rooster Teeth try new things. Been a fan of RvB since day 1 and the leaps and bounds they've made in animation in general is fascinating. I look forward to this new show, new seasons and whatever they try in the future.

Jen Taylors voice is as fantastic as ever. Too bad she doesn't narrate throughout the whole episode, because the rest sure turned me off. I couldn't watch more than a minute.

The animation seems pretty choppy, I hate the voices, and why do all of the 4 main characters have some weapon combined with a shotgun? Well, I'm just going to wait for the next RvB episode, you know, something that is actually pretty good to watch.

I thought they going for dark and serious with the trailers and opening monologue but they managed to pull off some pretty funny stuff. If American animation is what it takes to get people into anime then that's fine by me. Better than Naruto at least. Though I don't know how many anime n00bs will get the parodies present throughout.
