Then getting tired of being on the defensive and relying on the uptight honor bound guardians of the city he broke away and left to form the Crossbone Vanguard. This group of space pirate travel around pillaging everything they can and killing anything that threatens their group or the city. One day he and the rest of the Vanguard hope to find some of the lost power of the golden age then forge their own place in the solar system.

Name: Sprocket Race: Exo Class: Warlock Colors: Light Blue/ or Teal (Bow chicka bow wow) with silver or green streaks thrown in with black details. Weapons: Prefers Pulse Rifles and Heavy Pistols Bio: Exo 177 was originally created by James Herondale, the creator of the Exo's. James was old in his age, and decided he needed help to gather resources for his shop. Thus, Exo 177. The name "Sprocket" was an affectionate term after the Exo was stumbling around in the workshop and a box crashed down on him. He stood up with a line of sprockets on his forearm. The tale of how a mindless Exo worker became a Guardian is as follows...Sprocket spent a lot of time helping James' granddaughter Erin with her chores. She would talk to him, young enough in her age to not understand that he couldn't respond. But, the little girls and ideals and creativity and general innocence sparked something inside Sprocket, and over time, his AI increased to where his nanotech skin could form words and audio receptors and submitters could produce sound. Eventually, his brain filled with human ideals, he followed James' gathering team on an expedition. They had never had to travel so far to acquire resources for Exo creation, but with the mines in the City dry, they had no other choice. Inevitably, they can under attack by the Fallen clan Humanity's Bane. Losing half the team, and almost losing the girl the Exo had grown to adore, the Exo was as close to human as any mindless worker had ever been. After saving Erin from a Fallen Captain on that gathering expedition, he had been ambushed and damaged badly. The Traveler bestowed its powered upon him, and he was miraculously healed in time to save the rest of the team. Soon after, the Guardians came to Herondale's workshop, and gave the Exo a place where he could be normal with others like himself. He never forgot the girl, Erin, or James, the people who helped become what he was.

Name: Romero, S. Class: Titan Race: Human Armor Color: White primarily, some dark grey/black trimmings and dashes of color occasionally. Overview: The epitome of the phrase "jack of all trades, master of none". Proficient in almost every weapon class, and capable of shifting tactics and behavior to accommodate changes in battle. He may not be the best sniper, gunner, or shock troop enlisted as a Guardian, but he excels at most roles assigned to him, as opposed to some of highly specialized soldiers that make up the ranks of the Guardians. When left to his own devices, he prefers engagements with assault rifles, but carries a sidearm at all times, despite the array of weapons made available to him. May carry a sniper rifle for enemies beyond his reach. Tends to employ skirmishing tactics. What appears to be reluctance and inefficiency may actually be a prominent sense of awareness. Always exercises caution. On several occasions he has shown altruistic tendencies. This seems to vary depending on the situation. Reserved but friendly. Dislikes confrontation. However, he has proven to be a shrewd negotiator, and will often play the role of mediator during quarrels between allies. That said, he is adamant regarding his morality. He tends to mildly chastise allies for malicious behavior, but when in the thick of a firefight he exhibits spiteful behavior, often chasing and killing a specific enemy as recompense for particularly bold attacks. Background: Rumored involvement with the struggle of humans elsewhere. His familiarity with power armor is enough to warrant an investigation or two. In the end it is always decided that the City is better off sending him into battle rather than being detained for knowing how to use his equipment. Whatever that struggle was, all that matters now is that his considerable amount of experience dealing with aliens (although he seems to suggest that he's engaged species differing from those races currently besieging our solar system. I've taken these suggestions with a grain of salt and he doesn't seem to mind) will prove to be an asset. Has a long family history of martial conflict. Some of the earliest documents suggest he had family ties to soldiers involved in the Global War of 2014-2020. His knowledge of this is unknown. He may reference it from time to time in the field. His commander should note this to the psychological/support staff on hand should it come up. Conclusion: A capable, promising soldier. Best assigned to the front line, but can adapt to varying assignments. Will not be a source of tension with other Guardians. Anyone commanding him is wise to use him as a supplementary unit, or as a fallback in lieu of a dedicated specialist. Obedient, but colorful. Tends to swear. His altruism may be an issue but that remains to be seen. All in all, an effective soldier and Guardian. - Epstein, A.
