So if at the end of MGS4... (Spoilers)
How would you have liked it if Snake actually did pull the trigger? I would have been fine with it. The dude's finished what he set out to do, he's got nothing left.

I was screaming "no" at the TV throughout all of that scene. So I wouldn't have liked it

That would have been the perfect ending. Its the only way for him to escape constent war and conflict.

Id be fine with that OR the original ending (Snake and Otacon turning themselves in for war crimes). Anything is better than him living in peace for the rest of his short life.

I guess I would be fine with it too, but I like how Big Boss tells him to live out his remaining time in peace.
