Why are people impressed by Project Spark?

I mean, what's so good about it? The graphics are cartoony and look like shit. It looks like a Wii game. All you do is build stuff? Is that it? Like, I don't think i'm understanding the point of this game.

  • because I can share content with my friend, and we can build a world. The thing I enjoy about minecraft, is even if I am playing with just one other person, the sense of community as I build, and create the world around me. Project Spark puts this on a new level with more to create, and really flesh out a world.

You could say the same thing about Minecraft, yet millions of people play and enjoy it. Myself included. It's a game where you can use your imagination and let your creativity shine. What is there to not like about it? (And it's FREE-TO-PLAY)

    • It's a cool creation tool. I don't see it as a game honestly, it isn't. It's a game creation tool. You make your own AI, choose the type of game it is. It's a good tool for game creators and I can't wait to get it on PC and start working on stuff.

Some people aren't braindead so they like to be creative and make things, even virtual things.

      • You mean a game where you craft your own game world, fill it with creatures and buildings that you want, then give everything you can imagine a programmable brain of its own, able to live in the world how you want? Yeah, I can't really see why that's impressive. /massive sarcasm

      • I am kinda in the same boat as you when I first saw it. I will be an Xbox buyer. This would be a game I would have to play before buying it though. It looks like it could be really cool with on the fly creating and building. Its not like a general game with everything layed out already. Its almost like a quicker minecraft, we all know how popular minecraft is.
