MJOLNIR Security helmet already in Destiny?
I know this is probably cOld News but I searched the forums and found no topics on it. This little find also sets up my topic nicely.
I was looking at some of the wallpapers that FireStream had made. You can find them [url=http://firestream.net/2013/index.php?p=159]here[/url].
I noticed the helmet of the Hunter seemed to look very familiar.

It has the "Visor" and the mouthpiece of the Security Officer of the UESC Marathon or the MJOLNIR Security helmet from Halo.
If we are going to be able to obtain some of the Halo helmets in Destiny I really want the ODST one.
Let me add something as the only replies have been, "That helmet is from Marathon!" If you go to my Xbox profile you will see that I own Marathon: Durandal and have 9 of the 15 achievements. I know this helmet is from Marathon so I edited it in at the top.
Now back the question at hand.
Does anyone else have a favorite helmet that they would like to see in Destiny?

The Security helmet was a pretty 'hard' reference to Marathon and could probably be considered the "Bungie Helmet" at this point. I think this image shows something that looks even more like a Security helmet: http://www.techfleece.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Destiny-ViDoc-Pathways-Out-of-Darkness-5038.jpg One bonus of Destiny being closer to coming from the MMO mold than a game like Halo is that easter eggs like this can be more easily plugged in as the 'progresses.' Of course, it's still not completely clear what MMO features Destiny will incorporate and which ones it will leave out...but new gear in World of Warcraft comes out all the time. 5 RepliesI suspect that we won't see direct copies of any Halo/Spartan/Mjolnir helmets in Destiny. Especially by name. The one exception (that you've spotted) could be what you referred to as the Halo MJOLNIR Security. Why would that be an exception? Well, if my avatar isn't a hint, I'll elaborate. The image above is a Craig Mullins painting of the "military Mjolnir Mark IV cyborg" otherwise known as "the Security Officer of the UESC Marathon". That would be the player-character in Marathon. Use of that image (or images based off of it) wouldn't be a "copy from Halo" (which is now 343i's IP) it would be a reference to Marathon (which is Bungie's IP).

Well the security helmet is actually from Marathon, which is a Bungie game and I wouldn't be surprised if they put a reference to it.
