One of the things that Made halo great from Halo 3 on was the user created content and the tools that Bungie provided to create said content. With what we know about Destiny what kind of user tools, customization options, and user created content do you want to see or think we'll see.

I have no idea how it would be integrated into the game, but Bungie is pretty good at making map editors so of course I'd like one.
-
Absolutely. It's hard to imagine at this point how they'll go about doing it as it's much harder to create custom gametypes with a Class based shooter than an Arena shooter (more crap to strip down to get to the bare bones), but I expect them to pull through in some fashion.
-
Of course! I just hope it'll have more advanced options such as land proportions and creating underground tunnels.
-
Well they seem to have a big emphasis on it being social, and on us telling the stories so... forge could work well with this.

Edited by Jaseroonie: 2/26/2013 6:24:09 PMForge worked great for Halo, but if we're always connected to the always active world of Destiny then forging stuff doesn't sound as appealing. I would at least like to edit maps totally isolated from the public. But editing a certain space that belongs to you would be sweet!

2 RepliesForge was a great idea for Halo, but I wouldn't want it in Destiny if it meant having to sacrifice something else. Like if not having Forge meant more options for ships and character customization I wouldn't miss it.
