Would PVE work for Marathon?
Do you think it would work in terms of having it be an alternative way to see and interact with the lore and story in game?

It needs a campaign. The game mode is awesome I’m having a ton of fun but it needs a campaign.

Yes. Marathon is a pve game trying to be an extraction shooter.

Seeing as Marathon was originally a single player FPS, yes. Yes it would work, and it would have made more sense to do that than what they just did with the Marathon IP.

4 RepliesI think part of the reason they didn’t make it a PvE game is that it’d just be Destiny with a different skin.

They could have made a small 6 hours campaign or so, where you can experiment with the basic guns, shoot them, learning the U.I. and all the items, learn about the lore and story and factions etc
