I don't understand why I would play Festival of the Lost be 550, Guardian Rank 11 and go to the Rewards Shop to only get a Max T4 Engram...WTF is that ?? Absolutely 100% backwards and wrong. I should be getting nothing but T5 drops from everything. At 550, some of us earn it. And yet you make us want to not play because of things like this...I don't understand the point of upsetting the players like this. Makes 0 sense

Literally the only thing that doesnt give tier 5s is if you buy them with tokens, which you wont have that many of. All the drops in activity and all the drops you get from buying with candy are tier 5. Please stop whining already.

1 ReplyIf you are crying about drops at your level and don’t already have everything you are poo poo. FACT!

14 RepliesEdited by Kinetic5957: 10/26/2025 7:07:04 AMStop playing it and save yourself the pain and frustration. Don't give them anymore of you time or money, Bungie are above EA levels of greed, player manipulation and ineptitude. I stopped playing over a year ago and I don't miss it one bit, I literally just drop in here to see the game and it's -blam!- developers burn, they deserve every bit of criticism and then some. I recently went back to the division 2 and wow what a good looter shooter game. Hands down shits all over Destiny in every aspect of game design for a looter shooter - matchmaking for every activity - huge amount of diverse and most importantly VIABLE builds - free events every other week ( with some of the best cosmetics actually earnable not just purchasable) - no content vault here if you paid for you can play it and the gear from it is still viable - a community that actually want to help lower level players in endgame activities, you literally put a call for backup and help arrives and they stay until you get past it. - mechanics that can be challenging but not tedious and rarely require coms. - plenty of hero moments where one player saves the team from wipe - targeted loot farming to get your build perfect - crafting and loot tinkering ( improving stats on armour/guns already acquired) - power actually means something in this game The list goes on and on, I mean their Halloween event runs for 2 weeks -2 purchasable skins - 2 earnable skins ( and there are the better looking ones) And it's raining some of the best loot in the game! Seriously if you are burnt out from Destiny give the division a shot it really opened my eyes as to just how bad Destiny is and how bad of a developers and company Bungie is

5 RepliesEdited by Griever: 10/25/2025 11:02:20 PMThe better question is what's the point of leveling anyway if you're always going to be at a disadvantage? Most if not every activity you do, you're getting A tier rewards in anyway, so what difference does it make if you can get T5 at B tier if you're getting A or A+ consistently? The point of a leveling system is to become stronger, not so you can nerf yourself more so you can get the same rewards with "less effort" despite so easily "going big" every time? If there should be power deltas, it should nerf our level by that amount, not cap us below, so a 550 would actually be 520 in an ultimate activity. I don't care that it's their game and they can do what they want. If players shouldn't benefit from leveling up like they're supposed to, then the devs should have no right to tell us how much effort we need to put in for the best rewards of our choice. Whether it's activating any boons we want to no detriment to our reward tiers or letting us decide how many of any specific rewards we get. Getting 4 Solemn Remembrances in one match, 6 Forced Memorializers, or a full set of Techsec with our choice of stats in one match. Hell, take it a step further and let us buy anything we want for dirt cheap. It's not entitlement, it's basic logic. It's only fair to the players, meaning it is a good change. And considering how close to death this game is on top of the several lawsuits, they can't afford to keep screwing us over.

17 RepliesEverything Bungie does is stingy, they're real pinch pockets. Clan rewards dropping at 200, the season pass reward weapons and armor dropping at current power, the 2 armor items at zavala maxed at tier 4, I could go on and on, it feels like they actually hate their players. 🤷

5 RepliesEdited by PROCK7: 10/26/2025 5:37:30 AMYeah the event coins are useless if you get T5 already. Dumb that it’s T4 capped.

4 RepliesI'm trying to figure out why the weapons from the FOTL rewards pass are dropping at tier 3 instead of tier 5 🤔
-
1 ReplyI get your point, but it just seems like you’re finding any insignificant reason to complain. 450, GR9 myself, every single piece of FOTL gear I’ve gotten even prior to reaching 450 has been t5, and I’m getting showered with them. That should be the case with you as well. You should be swimming in them. There is no reason this should bother you enough to complain about it on the forums. Also there are other things to spend tokens on. Do that.

Guardian rank doesn’t an never meant rewards. You’re way up your own -blam!- lmao wake up and smell the beans 😂
-
2 Replies?? …I’m at 514 and only get T5s. Not sure why that would be happening to a 550 player.
-
1 ReplyLol, you guys do realize that there are like four people working on this game, and none of them talk to each other, because they're too busy self-driving their Teslas to an empty building? Bungie fired everyone, the people working on this game, are the people that used to work on public events, because they're the cheapest. It's like asking a cart pusher to cut you a nice thick cut of Wagyu Steak. They're gonna be like "wtf did you just say"?

2 RepliesEdited by THA_3rd_GUY: 10/26/2025 1:31:20 PMBungie saw how that Guitar Hero episode of South Park ended and thought "hey guys, you know what would be hilarious? If we did something like this in Destiny."
-
Edited by Polpadare: 10/25/2025 11:27:12 PMThere is not really any point in the event shop anyways. It is more of a mandatory check list fulfillment for live service game events.
-
1 ReplyI’m not 550 n only get tier 5s idk why you getting3 n 4s. Whats infuriating is trying to get these greens to drop. I wasted 10k in candy n didn’t get 1 to drop.
-
3 RepliesBecause you have to be at least 450LL to receive T5 gear and GR9.
-
I'm getting t5s most of the time, but you need to score at least a B on the activities. And that reward tracking should give stuff based on our light level too. Some good stuff, but t3? Cmon.
-
Because they're incompetent. They want to sell silver people can spend on event passes but there's no point in ranking up when you get below tier 5's - so why spend it or even care at all. It truely is the company of missed opportunities.
-
3 RepliesEdited by Guardian, Archon Of Light: 10/26/2025 12:13:17 AMYou get garaunteed tier 5s from end of activity drops, starting at 450 Has for the reward shop, it is dumb they limit it to tier 4 On Keplar you get Tier 5s from world drops
-
The engram from Eva does drop T5 (higher Guardian rank) for all the weapons and a chance for a holofoil. I would personally suggest just buying upgrade materials from the FotL store, since the engram from all the event stores are locked at T3. You would only be able to buy a few engrams that way anyways, whereas the ones bought from Eva are cheap and cost candy.

3 RepliesWorld drops are literally the only things that drop below T5. You'll live. Activity completions drop more than enough loot already.
