I helped a friend complete the dual destiny exotic class item mission the other day. It was my first time completing the dual destiny exotic class item mission, and afterwards I was able to attune my preferred exotic perks for the exotic class item. Though at this time my friend chose to buy the exotic class item from Eva Levante from the tower as part of the festival of the lost Halloween event. The difference is that he told me he is not able to attune the perks as I can. I am only guessing on this, but I am presuming this is because he because he bought the exotic class item from Eva levante from the tower before he did the dual destiny exotic mission. (He told me he did in fact buy the exotic class item from Eva Levante before he completed the dual destiny exotic class item mission with me.) I am guessing his inability to attune his exotic class item’s perks is due to a bug in the game that does not recognize any other method of acquiring the exotic class item other than the completion of the exotic class item mission (this would mean the game does not recognize the purchase of the exotic class item from an event-based vendor e.g Eva levante) Has anyone else encountered this issue with the exotic class item?
