I need artifice armor farming
I have a full time job and 3 kids.
The core of playing destiny to me was buildcrafting.
I would farm artifice armor for my builds then play and test and enjoy
I loved experimenting with different builds to see how the experience of gameplay changed.
This created replayability.
Now I'm not eligible to get to the higher tier armor to be able to buildcraft because I'll never have enough time to put into the game to be "allowed" to get better armor before reset so the entire concept of buildcrafting is just taken away from me.
Before skill based farming worked great.
Now I can't do time based tier 5 farming.
That was my entire reason to play so I pretty much stopped playing because Bungie essentially removed my ability to play their game with buildcrafting or even being able to create a great fun build.
This sucks.
Hoping someone relevant sees this and has an oh -blam!- moment.

It’s been out long enough to see how the tier system is great outside of how you obtain different tiers. It’s essentially tied to time. Spend enough time and you’ll get the best stuff. Don’t really need to do any hard content. They should rebalance it to be more difficulty related and less time related. Or the reset needs to not happen. Though I still believe tier 5s should be associated to higher difficulty content. It’s just a normal drop right now rather than any sort of accomplishment, which even Adepts handled a bit better.

3 RepliesWhat Bungie previously said was that old Artifice armor would be akin to new Tier 3 armor... meaning, Tier 3 pieces have the same amount of stat points as Artifice. I believe its like 65-70 points. The trouble is that the Artifice usually has points in every stat, whereas new armor will only focus on 3 specific stats. My advice is to figure out what your main play-style is & just farm for Tier 3's of that specific archetype. Do you love chucking grenades, go for a Tier 3 Grenadier set. Wanna go wild with melees, try Brawler or Paragon. You dont need points in every stat. I have my health at like 12, its a useless stat unless you're gonna solo flawless some Ultimatum activity.
