The answer is simple: STOP PLAYING THE GAME
I am not here to defend the implosion of Bungie and its life sucking game play. Rather here to remind us all if it sucks DONT PLAY IT.
When you keep coming back like me and giving them money for hot dookie spread on paper with them flipping you off then -blam!- at fault?
To be fair: I wanna make money like that too. We are creatures of habit. Sure we complain yet here we are!! Giving more money! So really who stupid? Me or bungie for realizing they can keep pulling in any sort of money with the least possible care and attention :)
So if it really is driving you that mad… UNINSTALL!
Yes! They did implode Yes They are checked out and give no care at all to the complaints or state of game. To be fairly honest they dont care we even exist.
So all is true: Bungie go Bye, game be done, or washed out at least. Time to move on!
IF WE THE CONSUMER KEEP PLAYING, TALKING ON HERE AND BUYING STUFF FROM THEM WHY SHOULD OR WOULD THEY STOP MAKING MONEY OFF US BEING DUMB??
Would you buy a rotten orange, like fully pay for a rotten orange then -blam!- at the store for selling only rotten oranges that YOU PAID FOR?? i mean probably yea but try and learn its not working out so stop just complaining and giving money to them. We are all VERY VERY INSANE :)
Myself included. However I rage too much from this and see too much pain to keep going with this. There has to be a change but we need to completely vacate to the ip for it to happen.

The game now centers on solo play amd frind....omg....the grind to 450 is a joke. Bungie has lost their way amd this game....a game that once felt like a community is toast

Also if something needs to disappear, then it's this useless forum, because it's never satisfied with anything and been whining about literally everything for a decade straight, it's beyond ridiculous at this point.

1 ReplyJudging by the player numbers most of us already did. The ones left are the diehards, the PVP sweats, and the streamers who get paid to no life the game. Hell, Silksong dropped and had over 400k active players at one point yesterday on Steam and Destiny was in the 20k range. Literally Bungie had less appeal for players than a 2D side scroller made by a handful of people.

Bungie seems to love strikes, which pretty much suck all the time, why don't we make our own strike and announce it on YouTube. Convince a YouTuber to announce it and everybody not login until certain demands are met.

I want to add something again I agree with you and to be fair I actually haven't bought anything in the game except for final fate or final shape expansion which I got at like 60 or 70% off we didn't really bother me that much considering I was just getting that new subclass. Now I'm just in PvP I power level 25 clapping heads. That's the only thing I enjoy about the game. I don't even know how to complete my previous Mission and final shave with the whole menu all out of wax I don't even bother.

So i decided to give the game another shot. Loaded up trials. 2 or 1 shot every single time for several matches. I can't do this any more. I',m gonna have to uninstall for a long time. I'm not this bad. Some exterior force is not working right and it's 100% not me. Trials is no different than comp or anything else. Its the same people. Yet i cant do any damage even for +15*20 minutes.

I just uninstalled. I get killed before entering the firing lane in comp and trials. Im done being treated this way. I never used to have these issues. People exploit every inch of this game and Bungie lets them. I used to have no problem fighting others. Now i can't even fire without getting hit.

2 RepliesI love destiny 2 but I just hate bungie. The studio who ran a good game into the ground. In the ideal situation, Sony completely dissolves bungie and fires all the c suite while absorbing whatever talented devs still remaining. Then they can give the ip to someone like embark for PvP and another studio for pve.

agree, this team runs on spreadsheet metrics that ignore burnout and only care about cash shop revenue stop playing until they massively change these horrible anti-player systems

1 ReplyThey won't stop playing. Not a single one that complains about it will. Not only will they continue playing they will keep buying armor from the EVERVERSE. So, don't expect the game to change when the player base keeps filling their pockets.

The analogy I always think of is a customer who keeps returning to a restaurant to order food and complains every time that it tastes awful. The more they do it, the more difficult it is to take their feedback seriously. Keep it simple: play what you enjoy.

2 RepliesThat's what I did. Checked in today and saw that Strongholds plus two of my favorite weapons are being nerfed. Yeah, I am good with other games. Bungie is -blam!-. Sony can't drop the hammer fast enough.

2 RepliesThat’s what I did. I was liking the game less and less, saw all the changes coming with the End of Fun and knew I wouldn’t like them...so I didn’t buy it and stopped playing altogether. It’s sad. I’ve been playing since D1 and had some great times with friends but they all stopped playing long ago....my exit was long overdue at this point.

Borderlands 4 will help me do this. It is looking very good with great changes. For the first time I find myself picking up the controller then putting it down thinking “what is the point?”.

Nothing short of a court order is going to compel Bungle to do that. But overall you are correct: not enjoying the game? Stop playing and stop buying installments. There are other games out there that you now have time for.
