As a professional hoarder, even I know vault space is not the issue, it's inventory space.
We either need a system that directly bypasses inventory when equipping load outs, allowing items to be automatically equipped and stored in the vault, or we need more inventory slots.
With armor 3.0 our builds are more dependant on massive spikes towards specific stats and set bonuses, on top of our exotics.
Those of us with multiple builds are likely finding our inventory cluttered with 3-5 sets of legendary armor and several exotics in each slot.

3 RepliesI don't understand the cries for vault space, tbh. I could delete almost everything in mine and it wouldn't make a difference. Especially now everything is tiered.

2 RepliesVault spaces is the answer. 2000 spaces is good to start. Only reason vault space isn't the answer is because Bungie never give enough.

4 RepliesFortunately you can send items in your inventory directly to the vault without visiting the Tower or using a 3rd party app.

3 RepliesDon't hoard then. 😃 Problem solved!

1 ReplyI'd need more loadout slots. What I really want is a better inventory management system. Let's be honest, it's already hard enough to keep up with 700 slots. If they just increase it to a thousand it will just be worse. I know I don't need that much gear but it's hard to toss it. If you had told me in D1 that I would eventually have 700 inventory slots I would have asked "why"? Now it feels too small by half. And I'm still in the leveling phase. I'm not putting tier 3 armor in the vault. I'm guessing most of the builds I'm thinking about will be viable with tier 4. I foresee dismantling pain in my future... again.

2 RepliesWho wants to bet the majority of Ash and Iron gear will be reissues added to the tier system? You’re right in that increasing vault space is just a quick band aid when the gaping hole of a problem is the lack of investment in any of our gear. I’m at the point now where I regularly get tier 4s with a few tier 5s mixed in. Problem is, I already have god rolls in tier 3 form, so I find myself either infusing them or scrapping them for cores. If I’m at the point where tier 4-5 gear drops, why can’t I just upgrade my lower tiers to the higher tier? You can’t argue that Destiny needs to evolve while in the same breath also stubbornly say that taking away random rolls will kill the game.
