Ok so it’s just D1 but it supports 60fps 4k and PC and will remove sprint cool-down and add clambering also like the early days of D2 if you pre order the game for the first week you can transfer over you OG D1 character and all your weapons and armor. You would still have to level up to be able to use it but it would be there.

Absolutely! I prefer d1 over d2, I'd gladly take a d1 remaster. I'd even take a d1 pc port, it doesn't have to be remastered.

fork yes.

Edited by Guardian, Archon Of Light: 6/3/2025 10:29:03 PMYes, if they kept it mostly like it was except a few D2 quality of life additions, like Clambering and 60FPS and Field Of View slider I would pay any price, for the real Destiny to shine again Not only should it get a remaster, it should get new DLC and sandbox update, Handcannons are beyond busted right now in D1, I usually am against any nerf, but its like "Which Handcannon is going to kill me this time, 50% Palindrome ,40% Eyasluna,10% TLW, Hancannons dominate D1 right now the same as pre-nerf Redrix dominated D2, even worse Also need 5 for Wrath, know how to double cannon or double throw, in case of emergencies

Edited by ben: 6/3/2025 2:28:56 PMI would if it was free and done well As much as I can take off my rose tinted glasses and acknowledge that destiny 2 is a "better" game, the simplicity of d1 would be fun to go back and experience, doing raids underlevelled and playing for weeks and months just to get your first set of legendary gear. It has a charm to it that d2 never had from day 1 Its like saying why would you go back and play dark souls 1 or 2 when elden ring exists and is better... even if the latest and greatest is the pinnacle of design the old still has charm.

No. I quit D2 around the beginning of the year. Not giving any more money to Bungie. Still loved the Destiny world so I went back to D1. I have all the DLCs still on PS4 so created a new account and started over. It was a blast. It was amazing how the graphics changed to D2. Just the way the flayers did that ground wave was so much better in D1. Little things like that. I only returned back to D2 so my son could have me play along side him in this season's dungeons. I don't see much time for me on D2 but I'm happy with where D1 left off. It's still there for most to play if they want.

As much as I loved it no I wanna see the franchise move forward with new ideas like a destiny single player.

Honestly no, despite how much I loved it d1 was actually pretty bad.

The 6 years wasted on Maraflop could've been used to make a D1 remaster with modern settings and updates and would've made Bungie more money lmao.
