Iron Banner is trash
It's not due to balancing, matchmaking or skill (maybe some) it's about how the game buffs and nerfs to meet the 35%-win goal. Winning 3 out of 10 times for a player who is not adept makes the game a complete garbage dump. I would rather play Trials and lose 14 out of 21 games, at least its has better rewards.
HC -4 shots to get a kill, but 1-2 shots by other players. Lag is bad depending on time of day.
Pulse -nerfed rarely get a kill, since standing still for 2 secs will get you killed by a sliding Camill Dagger HC player.
Scout rifle - sometimes.
Fusion - squat and shoot most always works.
360 Autos - buffed but work only against players standing still in the kill box called Control.
Best part- makes me mad so I clean out half my vault since 80 percent is trash anyway.
Edit: I said it was trash I didnt say I was going to stop playing and delete the game lol. I play to win not get a high KDA that's why mine is 1.03 and once upon a time it was 1.82. Maybe I should have been more specific and said the player base is trash and my choice of weapons is trash.

2 RepliesEdited by JerBear: 5/25/2025 7:44:10 PMThere's absolutely a huge issue with apparently dying in 1-2 shots especially crimils, the netcode doesn't work anymore, especially Vs players from other platforms, 99% of my 1 tap deaths were PSN players who take 11 shots to kill but me, ah,as soon as they see me I die. Never again. Actually downloaded black ops 6 today & though it's manipulated in different ways, games are close, people I shoot die, mm is fast, every mode is populated, there's no teleporting on cross play issues, & I'm not spending half my time deleting loot. Had more fun getting to rank 20 today than I have in crucible in the last 6-7 years

I've had more bans on Steam lately.. But hey.. let's throw everything at Marathon and ignore the players that made us money in the first place.

1 ReplyTo many in iron banner are treating it like trials and are trying to get kills rather than capturing zones. I had 3 team mates stand next to zone c while it wasn’t captured and ran off to go get kills while I was left exposed and got team shot. I’m also convinced that some are willing to get on the mic to coach their teams. I haven’t had a teammate to it but the opposing team seemed to be very coordinated

8 RepliesLiterally just got put in a match as my team were given a mercy being 41 to 121. One guy on the opposite team had a KDA of 19. It's obvious who is using third-party accessories.

I like iron banner, im terrible at it but i get heaps of stuff just for losing, run it straight 😁 feed them till they can eat no more. No one ever hates the guy that runs it straight 😅

Loss after loss solo and then also having to play three times as much as a fireteam that gets to farm is not an incentive to play more. I just used it to get the PvP strand kills I needed for my challenges to hit 108 and then I got the hell out of there. I will say this though, with as much talk there is about metas and such I'm not really feeling it in IB. I'm dying because the teams are vastly imbalanced - not because everyone is running a specific spec or weapon. Same with the weapons, I used Glissando for Strand kills and it was perfectly viable yet I never hear anyone talk about it.

2 RepliesExactly the same experience, I get killed in 1-2 shot but it takes double the amount for me (on PSN) to kill someone. I’m still blaming the lag for that. It’s extremely annoying and there isn’t much room for improvements with such a mess.

hc (140) will only take 4 shots if you’re out of your effective range OR if you hit a body shot. standing still for 2 seconds will get you killed by any weapon lol
