Guardian Rank 6 Nightfall objective broken
To progress to rank 7, there is a subcatagory where you need to complete nightfall objectives. One of them is called "bane-empowered combatants".
For starters: It is not clear to new players that they must play on expert+ difficulty but the task itself is also broken IN expert.
Only some "Banes" qualify to complete the task. So you may need to run it over a number of times to get this task completed, that is if you do not run into any of the correct Banes.
My friends helped me out and this was how we discovered the bug. As more seasoned Destiny players they suggested it had something to do with some being "newer" banes. So the ones added in Episode: Heresy - [b]Zealos, Pummel and Hypernova, currently do not contribute to this objective[/b].
