Why is my name Guardian now, even though my name didn't break any of the Bungie name rules?
My name has been changed to a Guardian name, even though my name didn't break any of the rules, it wasn't empty or offensive, didn't in any way mention a Bungie employee, didn't have any personal identification, and wasn't hate speech, wasnt explicit or involve any -blam!- terms, didn't have a website address, nor did it have any profanity. So tell me Bungie what did I do?

6 RepliesHi there, If your name was changed for you, this means it was in violation of the [url=https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Legal/CodeOfConduct]Code of Conduct[/url]. However, Bungie cannot and will not confirm why specific names are actioned. If you have a name change available, you can use it to change your name, provided the new name passes inspection from the name filter. If you have no name change available, unfortunately you'll be stuck with the name you currently have.
