Can we make the new ultra chad flex in d2 be something like doing endgame content in all blues and speed runs in all blues with blue stock weapons ,so that you can reverse some of the difficulty increases that have alienated a huge chunk of your player base over the last year and a bit ,and make the game and content more accessible for more players
Haven't seen players flex all blue runs for years

1 ReplyEdited by FloodZ: 10/29/2024 2:09:58 PMEvery guardian with quadruple-100 stat artifice armor builds and every god roll exotic/weapon possible who complains about how easy Destiny has gotten or that there's no endgame should just be transported into a permadeath Vex-simulated infinite forest or onslaught instance, but with no breaks or defenses; just an ever-increasing number of higher-difficulty enemies (like Saint stuck for centuries in the Vex network.) When you eventually die to a mob of yellow bar screebs that fills your screen, you get an "I won Destiny 2" title and emblem but you have to start a new character at 1100 and lose access to regrind the gear you died with. If you eventually run out of exotic armor and weapons to grind for because they're all locked out, you become the new CEO of Bungie. There's your endgame.

5 RepliesEdited by FloodZ: 10/28/2024 11:19:31 PMThey're all gone; all we have left are players who speed grind to power cap, grind only the best min/max/cheese builds, exotics, rolls, and strats by playing 8 hrs per day exclusively with a single group of like-minded tryhards, then complain that the game isn't challenging enough anymore.

We stopped because your gears rarity doesn't matter. Last time I did anything with all blues was whisper redux, took a bit of extra work obviously because I didn't have my usual setup I'm used to but still got it done with time to spare

You don't even play the game so why do you even care 😅😅😅

When “build” ability spam was turned up to 100 color of guns became irrelevant.
-
Why does this matter ?

All blue runs are kinda boring ngl, I think content should just be harder even with our powerful loadouts.

1 ReplyI now want an endgame where taking any damage is death. I want to just watch the elitist players go, "This is too hard." To which the rest of the player base can say is "get gud."
-
The thing is that most endgame content just doesn't get any harder if you only use blue gear. Back in the days your guns would be the most important thing and using bad guns would result in a bad build. Nowadays you can clear anything apart maybe raids without ever using a single gun. Take Vespers host for example. 3 Titans with Behemoth will one or two phase the servitor without guns. And with all of them being on t-crash you can also two phase the final boss.

1 ReplyBlue runs just aren't as interesting as speedruns/lowmans where the whole sandbox can be leveraged

3 RepliesAlot of challenge runners quit. I started taking on duo and trio raid runs shortly before I quit D2. The guys i ran with and several of their people also quit D2. Esoterickk and a few others are kinda the last bastion of challenge runners
